Was asked to work up some prices. I feel confident about everything but the canopy, have read some horror stories and wanted to know what to look out for. Thanks

Any suggestions on this canopy as whether the coating may come loose as other have shown in the past.

Sorry Russ I guess that was a very open ended question. The bottom, I thought I had read somewhere that some of these canopy bottoms can let loose of their coating like a shedding dog is spring.
I think I have even saw the aftermath of one of these in the past.
Thank you Tracy

It's looks like snow!!

Exactly. Any clues as if this might be one? Does this most often happen after a re-paint?

I doubt you'll peal the paint (I haven't yet) but it will likely etch it...it won't shine like new paint and the customer needs to understand this. I've used different caustic's with and without butyl and what worked great on one didn't work on the next. Same with DS'ing...works on one and the next you have to use a chem pump to get the strength. Seems to be based on the type of paint. Test first, demo second and make sure the customer's expectations equal the demo.

I forgot to mention....hot water.

Great information, thanks for sharing. I have a Hydrotek 30009SC Hot/Cold Unit with reclaim, so hot water is covered. Ya wouldn't mind sharing your laundry list of chemicals would you.
