Good or Bad deal?

Power Cleaners

Old fellow down the street from me had these and gave me a price of $200.00

The hydro Twist - needs tips. Nozzle size are not right for my setup.
The Aladdin - needs new tips and arms, kinda bent and has a wicked shimmy.

Kinda wish they were a little smaller. But I wanted to start offering some flat work service to my Vent A Hood cleaning service. I figured for the price it was a knock on the door to start. But then again I'm not real wise on flat washers hehe.

System

I think the system I'm running is not up to snuff for the size of these flat washer.

16 hp Vanguard
3000 psi
4.8 gpm - Says 5 gpm on the tag, but it's really 4.8

Probably will have to work at a slower pace than I would like. But I'm not looking to do the size jobs that I see many of you professional flat washer guys do.

I have that type Hydro Twister and it works very well....but the five gallon a minuet is not really enough to run it, you will have to move very slowly.. I started with a 4.5 and went to a 8.

I hear you

Yeah I was waiting for someone to make a remark on the gpm. I agree, to many here that flat wash for a living seem to have a higher gpm system.

I put a fresh coat of paint on the Hydro Tek lol, I'll get the tips later this week. More than likely will Ebay them off if the new tips don't improve it some.

They have Size .3 - 15 deg. nozzles in them now. Delco carriers the Size .275 I need, and only a 30 min. drive away. The #3 Nozzles gives me only 2500 psi now with the 4.8 gpm my system puts out :( But hey the water is hot lol.

But if I'm not happy after that, there is always Ebay hehe. And I'll just get a smaller one for now till I'm ready to invest in a bigger pressure washer.
