OK you flatwork gurus

Here is a picture of a sidewalk.

The company that cleans them uses no pressure washer. They spray something on and the concrete turns whiteish in color and the algae is dead. The process takes about three days.

Any guesses???:confused: :confused:

From what you describe, I can guarantee it's the same stuff Envirospec sells. Rust-A-Way. (Or some derivitave of the chemical composition they use to formulate it) I've used it on a lot of concrete, and that's what it does. (Doesn't take 3 days though)
 
I have not ever had good results from Ox down here on rust stains or the fertilizer stains. Have to use the stronger stuff.
 
Reef, I can get you a picture of a demo I did for a development that had very badly rusted sidewalks. Went from Dark Brown/Red to White. Maybe I'm thinking of a different look than you're describing
