Where is the cheapest insurance?

I forgot to mention that I did call the Joe Walers company and they wanted double what I am paying now for business insurance but will not cover the trailer because we are near the water so no coverage for the trailer.

I asked about 1 mil. for the vehicles and they told me that I have to have the business insurance with them before I could do the vehicles. I asked her to check what it would be and cheche told me that they would not even check unless I am ready to buy, Wow. O Well.

I found out that I will only have to pay another $200.00 every 6 months for the additional coverage for the vehicles from what I am paying now so that is not too bad at all.

I did give J.W. the benefit of the doubt and did give them a chance like I do every year but after today, I doubt I will even try again.
i had the same problem with joe walters! they didnt want to cover my trailer because of my location and then to top it off they were going to be more than the person i chose over them!

Nothing against JW,but I found a local agent will help you cater the policy to your businesses needs. The exact reason why I swapped everything to 1 company today.
My business insurance agent used to handle my auto as well, but I had the bare bones coverage.I shopped it to a new agent in the same company and got better coverage at a lower price. When I got a contract today that required changes to the business policy I called the agent handling my business insurance only to find it ran out in June and I never received and notification from him or the company.
Needless to say I immediately paid a visit to the guy who writes my auto and told him what I needed in the new business policy.I don't hav ethe final total yet,but I know it will be higher than the $684 I was paying and I have the option to include inland marine.
Local agents who really want your business will work to get you the policy you need.

I agree Scott, I wish I could have one agent for both the vehicles and business but here State Farm does not do business insurance (been with them for about 15 years now) and Nationwide gave me a price for the commercial auto that was over $1000.00 more than State Farm. I will keep them separate for now but wish I could have one agent that could do both and was reasonable for all of it.

I called all the major companies here since last week and out of 8 Farmer's Insurance agencies, only 1 called back with the pricing and 1 other called to tell me that they still need a few more days. I did try Allstate, Geico, Progressive, and a lot of others out there, most would not call back after you give them your info.

Amazing that companies out there are so laid back and just don't care about making money. Maybe it is just me but if I was selling insurance, I would have a lot more people on the phones and offer the best service out there and not keep them waiting for quotes and if I could not give them a price now, make it a priority to call them back asap.

Seems like the company's great marketing genious's think that all it takes is just put your face on a billboard. You still need customer service.

I've been having some weird correspondences with Cheche also. Been waiting on a quote for weeks now, she keeps requesting the same information over and over. Then gave me grief when I asked her to itemize the difference between the liability and the commercial auto quotes (all she has sent me so far is a breakdown of coverage and 1 price.)

I'm a bit relieved to learn others are experiencing problems with J D Walters.

If anyone has a better agency to refer me to, that covers Arizona, please PM me or email me at GrimeBustersPressureWashing@msn.com

I have the Commercial Vehicle policies through State Farm and the Business Insurance through Nationwide.

All the other big players were not even in the ballpark, most did not even return calls to give prices, amazing that they are still in business with employees like that.

What kills me is what they charge for commercial vehicle insurance. What's the difference of my wife driving her truck to her office or me driving my truck to do roof job? Just cause I own a business they can sue me for more money? That's BS. My general liability is was cheaper than my auto and I think it should be the other way around. So what exactly am I paying extra for.
I use allstate and I get good service with them. I got 1 and 3 I think. Anytime I need certificates or proof faxed over I just call and its done right then. I'm about to change my auto and home over thbere too and get me one of them there fancy umbrella policies.

I'm workers comp exempt so maybe someone can elaborate more on the cost of WC and whatever else u can tell us new and upcommers!

Ive been shopping around for a bit everyone is over 1500.00 and I am also waiting for jw to give me a quote its been a week and still waiting hopefully it will be before the new year.
