Flyers For Roof Cleaning - Headlines That Have Worked

Great thread.
Do you guys think these ideas would work in a newspaper ad?
I have one thats paid for the next 2 months and thought about changing it. They'll let me do at no charge. Thanks

Absolutely!
An AD is an AD, no matter if it is a flyer, or a yellow page ad, or newspaper ad.
Tell us what you are thinking, run it by us.
Brother Cleaner, ALL OF US IS SMARTER THEN ONE OF US
Run it by us, get everyones comments, then run with it ?

I was thinking of something simple like
10-20% off any driveway cleaning with purchase of a housewash.
Run it for like 7-10 days or a little longer. Then change the ad to something else. Just playing with the #'s here.
Your inputs......

How about "Free Driveway Cleaning", with the purchase of "........."? (up to X sq. ft. driveway)

How about "Whats Hiding In Your Siding" ?
Thats Nicole's Flyer, NOT mine.
I like it ?

Your House Called Today!
It Wants A Bath!

This is really interesting, when i first got into this business the first thing i did was put out flyers, and i used catchy phrases just like this but i did not see any better return than the company name and logo?

I wanted to rent a billboard and put in big bold letters (clean your house you filthy bastards) and then just a phone number, I know that would work up in the New York Area, but they would probably put me in jail down here..

hahahahaha

when you said "CLEAN YOU HOUSE YOU FILTHY BASTARDS" and then said it would work in New York I can't help but hear in my mind SOL ROSENBURG saying that from the Jerky Boys with that accent....

Guinea Pig Run

OK I liked afew of the titles.... so I'll try 1,000 flyers this week, 500 of 2 different titles. They are made today with my new laser printer from my wife. It was an earley fathers day gift. I could never go back to inkjet! The cat hates it... all the flyers come out of the top, now she has know where to lay. Tomorrow I'll SPAM 3 neighborhoods all with over 300k homes..... Lets sit back and wait!

"Your House Called Today! It wants A bath!"

I want 10% .........LOL Just kidding. Nice looking flyers Jeff. Let us know how they work out.... Good Luck! :)

I liked that line Larry.... It made me laugh. Figured I'd try it! Have you run that line, and if so did you have any luck??

No I haven't but now that I see it in writing on a flyer I think I'm going to. I run a few different ads in local papers and I think I may try it in those too. I got that from a billboard sign at a boat place that says " your boat called, Barnicals are itchy". LOL It got my attention. Im always looking for new ad ideas when I m out driving. I'll Twist them around to fit my buisiness needs and roll with them. :D

Yeah Larry I look at advertising very different now myself, I see ads on buses, park benches, shopping carts.... funny what you see when your really looking around you.

Jeffrey, what brand and model is your laser printer?

I am looking to get one soon, just wondering how much the toner cost and around how many pages/flyers you can do per toner?

Thanks.

I thought about the Cheaper than you think line too, but I also thought of the flip side of it, it will get me onto there property. Hey worst case I leave them with an estimate and never hear from them. Its a guinea pig run... we'll see how it goes.

On the printer, Office depot has a small one on sale with a rebate, made by brother. I have 2 of there printers. I paid 119 dollars for and got a mail in rebate to get it down to 99 dollars. Works great and has good reviews. They make a drum roller for it so you can get 12,000 pages before you change your toner. Refills are about 69 dollars, depends if you go with the norm or the long lasting toner. Its a good starter laser printer, and its speedy. I ran 500 card stock flyers trough it in under 5 minutes.

my man jeff!! hope my line works out for ya!! j/k i just grabbed a laser printer the other day $119 at office max...with no drum roller. the drum roller on a brother brand laser printer is like $150. i went with a samsung laser printer no drum roller $80 to replace toner about 2500 prints per cartridge vs ~3000 for the brother. I would rather do my printing inhouse than pay fedex kinkos $130 for 2000 1/2 page flyers! also on my last batch of flyers, i placed a " hello my name is..." section on the back along with a big logo!! BRANDING my logo!!! no sense in leaving the back blank!!
