I think http://newpig.com has storm grate covers and stuff. I don't think they have what this site has.

David, all thats done at the time of construction. the entire US will be complying with all these types of uses in the future.

If your citys are not complying they should be.

This prevents anyone including the gardener from worry about off property discharge and being subject to fines.

So we wouldn't have to reclaim or even have to divert except towards this system?

It sure would help take the worry out of washing on properties that have it. A plus for the environment

What properties would would get these systems

I would check with your building a zoning dept. They would be the ones making it the requirement.

If you dont have it you might bring it to your city councel.

Also, even if its not required by the city enforcement the companys and investors want to protect themslevs and do it anyway.

Walmart got fined 1 mil, remember when that happened?

Due to the quality of life and environment here in MN the state is for the most part on the cutting edge of special building techniques to protect mother nature. They made detention ponds a requirement for building codes over 30 years ago while some states still aren't doing this at all. That being said, if you check on MN it shows only two examples of this equipment being used. This tells me these were situations with special requirements. What it boils down to is this: Unless the Fed forces this as as federal building code and enforces it (which they can't even do for the Clean Water Act), don't expect to see too many of these systems. They are expensive and require maintenance and most projects won't use them until they are made to.

Blaine , I think you will find that more and more are using them.

You might be surprised what is coming down the pike in federal building codes. The HVAC industry has just announced that Obama is making a lot of changes in the FBC for that industry.

Ron, ..:slap:

What that in-groung-stuff does, is get us closer to being able to discharge into the storm drain. .....YaaaaH ! :happydance::happydance::happydance:
The cities are still going to require filtration, just not as much.

A Vacuuming Surface Cleaner is faster cleaning.
aka.. making money and getting contracts more easily with workspeed.

Jerry these systems get maintained and cleaned regular. Its city code they are required by law to maintain. If they get clogged they get fined.
