First let me introduce myself. My name is Dale Davis, I just started a new PW company here in Youngstown ohio called Superior Industrial Services. I have been doing real well since we started in april. I am a retired truck driver and got bored so I ordered this equipment, had it built from the ground up. I just got a contract to power wash 45 condos, and to remove black streaks off the roofs. But no matter what I use, I cannot get the streaks off. Can someone please tell me what to use and where to get it? Thanks so much. Dale
P.S I am including a couple pics of my rig.

Hey Dale,
Go to the search and type in apple sauce. You will find all you need to know in there. :)
 
There is so much knowledge in the board, just go to the homepage and in the search box, type in what you are looking for. The answers are there.

Take your time and read for months and months like most of us have, no rush, learning takes time and you will know a lot.

So many people have asked so many questions that sometimes they forget to search and are reminded that the search button is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, just no gold but information worth a lot more.

If you can't find what you have searched for, just ask.

I would call Chris or Don and ask them what they use. I'm thinking the applesauce may not be strong enough. you may need the recipe for spicyapplesauce.
 
Thanks guys, I used 12.5% sh, got it from a pool supply store here locally. But it is making all the shingles white in the spots where there is black streaks. This is a brown roof and it really sticks out.
 
The white spots may be mold or lichens , they turn white when hit with SH . Did the black streaks dissapear ?
 
I hope they are gone now, it has been almost 4 years.

Have not seen him posting, not sure if he is in business still.
