Hey yall. My name is Kyle Knaup with Quality Pressure Wash in Rocheater, MN. I've been reading and trying to soak up as much insight as possible over the last 6 months and am slowly getting my feet wet. I've been self employed as a "bovine hair removal engineer" for the last 13 years:) . I needed to find something that would get me home every night instead of on the road. I purchased a hydrotek 5g 300psi hot water setup barely used last winter and have been using my house as well as my family and friends houses as guinea pigs. It is amazing how helpful you all seem and I look forward to learning from all of you, and hopefully having something to add myself someday. With my background in the dairy industry, I have several people that would like barns washed. I haven't been able to find alot of info in the old threads on pricing for agricultural washing. If anybody has any experience I would love some advice.

Heya Kyle, welcome aboard!

I used to live with my grandfolks in the summers in the little town of Perham, MN. (That's just down the road from Detroit Lakes.) One of my buddies had a cabin there, but was from the Kasson-Mantorville area. You had to watch out for him because he was always reading the sidewalk!(;) )

This is a great place and group to take knowledge as a newbie, and to contribute as a veteran.

I wish I could help out with the ag. wash pricing, but that really hasn't been a good market for me here, just too few calls to get any good experience. It seems like I remember Jbruno mentioning here or on one of the other boards that he occasionally cleaned/sterilyzed a milking parlor for a local dairy.

That post may have been on the now-defunct Cleanernetwork, or the Grimescene. Try searching his username, or for Jim Bruno, here and at TGS.

It's a pretty long shot, and I just don't have time today to do it, or I would right now.

If I get time later I'll see if I can find it.

Good luck, and I hope you find the help you need.

Scott, didn't end up finding to much info, but the help is much appreciated. I'm only about 20 minutes from Kasson and Mantorville. Was actually born in Wanamingo. It is a great area. By the way, I love your avatar. Big fan. My other occupation has brought me to Ne a time or two. Very flat. Have some friends in Beatrice, NE.
