To tweak your connection/ see what speed you really are getting

Check this site out..... Go and test your line or check your speed. Then tell us what you are really getting.

I'm at 2400 though ATT says UP TO 3000. I have found out that they usually connect you at the middle of the advertise speed. For my package it's up to 3000, but guarantees at least 1500.

Check it out, its free !!!!

Your upload and download speeds have a lot of factors involved. If you're on DSL, and your within 3 miles of the CO, you should be getting pretty good speeds, if I remember correctly.
As with cable though, it all depends on how many people are on your same line or connection, in your neighborhood for instance. The most I've seen a residential cable connection get is around 12mb/2mb which is pretty darn good for whatever you need.

Ouch Michael, that really sucks Bro.
Fiber Optis is THE way to go.
I WAS on DSL, it was pretty good, but FIOS rules my area.
Superior, do you PAY extra for all that bandwidth ?
I am on standard Verizon FIOS Business, it is fast enough for me.
But there are faster packages you can get, you must pay extra, huh ?
