Who's running CDL?

I just renewed my medical card today so I'm good for another 2 years. It now makes 18 years that I've had my CDL. Now as far as actually driving a 18-wheeler, it's been about 6 years since I've been behind the wheel of one. I miss those days in a way though.

In Nc you have to have one before the licsense is given to you kinda like a physical. The for the hazmat you pay the feds almost a 100 bucks to make sure your not a terrorist.

Can someone explain the med card..I have a cdl-b but were do I get the med card?..doctor? What do I ask for? Is this something you carry with you it file with dmv?

Like Hal said, you should already have it if you have the CDL. The health card supposedly ensures that you're healthy enough to drive a commercial vehicle. The testing is usually done by a doctor licensed to do the testing to the specs required.

oh well i went for a pee pee at the doc before hand but that was it nothing else? this was for at&t ..mr evil empire himself...so maybe they somehow bribed the cdl school and then the dmv just shuttered when i walked in the door with my uniform on..lol..so im all good then if i got the cdl already...now for the hazmat would be good....anybody got a good shop in florida for the placards...i would have to get with my suppplier for the numbers? or are they always the same with s.h.?

Up here in Alberta atleast you have a class 5, 3, or 1. Class 5 is anything with 2 axles and no air (Q endorsement), Class 3 allows you to drive a tandem or tri drive truck, but no air trailer. Class 1 is everything pretty much, don't know about hazmat endorsements.

I need a class 3 for my wash truck, best decision I could have made when figuring out what truck to get 3 years ago.
