Hi there, my name is Matthew Shaw and I am a 23 year old from Bradenton who has owned a painting/pressure washing business since I was 18.
I am currently going to school with the eventual goal of an MD in Neurophysiology and Biochemisty, and recently have hired on with a local cleaning company, as with school I cannot devote the proper time to run my own business.
Thanks to all who have compiled this plethora of information, as personal experience has only taught me so much.
I have many good contacts in the supply side of this industry, and also act as a "kitchen chemist", experimenting with my own "sauce" recipies well before my visiting here. It is funny to see how my formulas are VERY close to some of the Pro's here. I guess intelligence in design is universal
My biggest issue. I do about 3-4 tile roofs per week, and HATE having to do them on my own. I do not have the option for a second worker, as I am no longer my own boss. The last roof I did took me 15hrs with a HoverWasher and Wand. It was a 4800 sq.ft house (next door to Dick Vitale's place here in Lakewood Ranch), but it ended up beautiful. My underwear on the other hand, not so purrty
I look forward to some intelligent discourse on ways to enhance our collective quality, quantity, and quarterlies.
