Green Tile roof cleaning Houston, TX

This is a roof we did yesterday. Its the first tile roof that I have had to walk, because I couldnt find a way to shoot the whole thing from the ladder. Also, it was on a golf course, and when I was done, there was a thick brown residue on the side of the golf course. We finally concluded that it was sand that had been kicked up from the sand traps by Ike. Told the customers it would wash off with the rain after a couple of months.

She had tried to clean it herself before she knew that there were companies out there that do this for a living. They were selling this one, 4,000sqft, and buying a new one 2 blocks away, 8,000sqft, and we're cleaning that one too. They needed a door for they're balcony upstairs, and I happen to have the exact door they needed in my garage, getting ready to be put in the trash. I told them I would bring it out next time i was on they're side of town.

Just a small gesture goes a long ways.

Nice job Scott! Those types of Tile are usually very difficult an very slippery to walk on when covered in Mold. I"ve landed on my butt a few times. Not a good feeling. It's just too bad that they let it go so long. It looks like the mold got the best of the coloring on the Tiles in some spots. Great job! :) How long did that one take you?

Thanks Larry. That one took about 6 hours  . Only because of me being so careful on the tiles, and the sand that was on it. I kept trying to hit it with the mix, thinking it was just dying algae, then trying to rinse it. Either way, it was our only job for the day, so it didnt cut into anything else.

Scott The roof looks great! I guess you have power back and life returning to normal??? Take it easy be safe!

Looks good Scott.

I will be around Pasadena tomorrow. Probably will be working a lot but if you get a chance, give me a call after dark, we will be shutting down after dark.

Hey Chris, Our internet has been down for 2 days and I didnt see this post till now. You still in Town? Let me know, and ill give you a call.

Very nice job, Scott!

Are you coming to the KY round table?

Thanks Don! I wasnt planning on it because we've been slow, and the whole gas is expensive thing. But now we are thinking of coming up on the goldwing. Should be a good ride if we decide to do it.

Let you know soon.

I hope you all can make it. I'd like to meet you.

Scott is good people.

Judy and I enjoyed spending some time with you, Scott.
Maybe next time we can meet your better half!

That's the funny thing about all these boards. If you meet someone in person, your perception of them almost always changes for the better!

The rest of it is just hearsay and tabloid garbage.

Thanks Thad. I told Judy that you guys were invited to the wedding...once we plan it. lol. I hope I can make it to the KY Rt. Its 1025 miles. Not too bad for the goldwing, but if I bring my GSXR I may not be able to work for a month.

I am back home Scott. We did some work then came back as most of it around several areas was done.

If there is another Hurricane, we will be on the road the next day with the Bucket Truck, Crane Truck, Pickup Trucks, Bobcats, etc.... ready to go.

Too bad, I was looking forward to meeting you. Thats the thing, you have to be first in line, or all the work dissapears. We went out 2 days after the storm with chainsaws, and everything within 5 miles was done. During the next storm, we're going to go walk flyers while the eye is over us, to get a leg up. lol.
