Phoenix Roundtable

We have had to reschedule this roundtable. It was entered wrong on contractor events, it was originally scheduled the same weekend as the PWNA event. They rearranged their schedule after we scheduled our roundtable. The next weekend is Halloween and many do not want to be away from home on Halloween night.

So, that being said, it is scheduled for Friday November 7, and Saturday November 8.

If you would like to present something as this roundtable, please contact me, and we will try and arrange something.

There are some things that are already planned.

First, there will be absolutely nothing on Fleetwashing. I can answer questions on a one to one basis, but that will not be the focus of any of the sessions.

We will cover some concrete cleaning techniques that can speed you up.

We will cover some building washing, awning cleaning and sign cleaning.

We will cover some basic machine repairs, and maybe some not so basic machine repairs. I will cover the quick and dirty methods of getting back up and running after a field breakdown, I will probably rebuild a pump, and answer other questions on machine repair and maintenance. I am pretty good on engines, and have a decent understanding of pumps.

I will also give a demonstration on the Steel Eagle Fury recovery system. What it does, and the associated filtration system. Since I don't have a pony in the race, you just might get to see a few things that can make your recovery life cheaper and/or easier.

Ron is going to be doing a few presentations I am certain.

We might have a presentation on doing government RFP's and what is looked for from the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

We might have a presentation of a City of Phoenix clean water inspector.

The last two have not been confirmed.

I can also do some other technical presentations, if there is interest. Let me know what you would like to see.

Since we are in Arizona, I might even cook lunch, Arizona Style.

There are several hotels that are near the abandoned strip mall where we are going to hold classes. If you need directions, please let me know.

The Airport is Phoenix, Sky Harbor, or PHX. There is a super shuttle that comes to Mesa. It is about a $25 dollar ride, or a $40 taxi ride. I do not know if the local hotels have a shuttle service.

There is a little local night life in Mesa. There is a lot of night life in Scottsdale.

If you want to present, please contact me at my information below. Any other questions can be directed here.

Are these definate dates? I would like to attend and would prefer to get my airline tickets soon.

I am sure this will be a great event like the MB RT. Scott was on the yahoo live and seems to have a fun personality so it would make for an exciting time.

Scott,

Need to confirm the dates for Nov 7th. I am planing on coming down for this one. Not sure about bringing the trailer down. Will have family in tow.

Let me know asap so that I may make arrangements.

Count on the dates.
As for sprinkler repair, if you have a problem with how to write a check, bring your checkbook and I will show you how to write a check... for a small fee.

by the way, there will be a small fee for lunch and supplies for the roundtable, probably around $50. I have to figure out what my costs are going to be.

We have some exciting things happening with a lot of talented presenters that are already stepping up with a wide variety of subjects. As time goes on, we will start to reveal what we have in the works. There might even be a couple of surprises...;)

BTW, the weather in Arizona in October is great. It is starting to cool down, and the highs, though they might be in the low 90's are very nice, because there is hardly any humidity.

Plus, there is a major shopping mall right across the street, if you want to bring your significant other... There also might be other activites, as we get closer to the date.

Please keep me posted when the date and time is etched in stone.

Thanks Scott.

Oh crap. I mis posted. The weather in November is even better. We often wear coats on Halloween. Sometimes it gets down to the low 60's at night. So a week later it is sure to be nice.

So the date is November 7 and 8th. In Mesa, Az, which is about 10 minutes from PHX.

There is a boarded up strip mall north of Fiesta mall. We have full access to a lot of the facilities there.
