I've got a 3500 psi at 4 gpm cold pressure washer and I was washing some tractor & trailers with it and the pump got so hot it melted the sight glass on the pump I was running off of a tank for about two or three hours and then I hoked up the garden hose for about one hour I'm useing around three hundred feet of garden hose but the pressure stayed high the pump is three years old but not used much. any suggestions on why it got so hot would help.
