Delco price list hurting the industry,

Still not Changed

Delco price list hurting the industry,

I titled that specifically to get you guys to take a look. Now help us fix the problem.

I think the price list in way to low, used by many new guys that actually follow it. So let’s help ourselves by updating our part.

If you forward the info to Robert he has promised me he would update the site and have it reflect new numbers.

You may post the numbers here if you like.

Keep in mind I posted this because I felt this current list does no one any good. Its way to low.

The link to list http://www.dcs1.com/del/pricing.html

Thanks

This thread is like Freddy Kruger.....no matter how many times it's killed, it keeps coming back.

Why would you bump it back to the top? The flock has spoken.....inaccurate info from a vendor is totally acceptable.

Because it's time for a change, a real change in the industry.

If people are affecting the industry in a negative impact they should fix the problems.

These prices should be fixed.

Take it down, leave it up, there's more important things to worry about in life and in business.

You are posting in a thread about an issue that you don't care either way about....from a mobile phone......to tell us we all have more important things to worry about.

Dear Lord.....:speechless:

Cant hurt to get it updated never the less

Doesn't affect my business one bit. Never known a customer to quote that list.

It's 10 + years old. If asked there's your answer.

Just say'in.

If the list is updated it could maybe stop just one lowballer and help to raise industry pricing in someone else's area. The more accurate information there is available, the better it is for the industry in my opinion.

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!

While netting $3000.00 in 8 hrs.........that would be yes.

Keep your mind on your business, and your business on your mind. My new "Zen" business attitude.

Glad to see you back Barry!

Yeah, its not going to hurt us Guy. Its giving customer and new guys a false reality. Will that effect you or me? NO

But it does and can hurt some. The problem with this industry is we all only have concerns about what effects us only, good attitude most of the time. sometimes its not.

I can agree with that to a point Ron. I remember seeing that list when I was researching the re-starting of our business. I did what anyone would do when starting a business....I ran the numbers, they didn't add up.

Smart business people will rise to the top (not talking about me) the rest will fall by the wayside. Nature of the beast. Just the way it is.

What I really find funny is that if the company revised this list, they may be able to garner more interest in people buying they're equipment. Again smart business, or not?

Good point!!

This is just another example of why I'll never spend a dime on the Vendor run Orgs. You cannot even address inaccurate vinyl sided house wash prices on a outdated or poorly conceived survey without the PTB...old guard...commercial washers...and PW'ers in the south (32% vinyl siding in south versus 75%-80% in my region). It would be like me arguing for ( 9 pages) lower KEC pricing in Florida which I could care less about.

Keep the price list as is.....I'll keep my money...and keep sitting back watching the the two Orgs self destruct every 2 years followed by a promise of a new and improved Org. Lather/rinse/repeat.....

LOL

I just joined the PWNA, I am running for president. I was on the UAMCC when it fell apart and since John T said I personally bankrupted it, I figure I can take down the PWNA within 2 years for good! Got to have goals in life

I did private detective work when I was 19, it was fun

Just a question, but what do the Orgs got to do with "The Unholy List"?

I would be interested in knowing where or how you came up with those percentages Barry. Seems 95% of what we do here is vinyl. Might just be my area.

Yes same here and other parts of the Carolinas we work in. I would say 85-90% is vinyl. Maybe Florida, they have a ton of stucco

Now who's being sensitive?

Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago we had an ORG board member toss out sales volume in a personal disagreement? That didn't turn out well. What you billed or earned on 6-7-2011 has absolutely nothing to do with my point.......about you monitoring a thread from a mobile device to tell people they have more important things to do......move along people, nothing to see here LOL!!!

Me? I have two broke down trucks.....if you want to see who's minding the store vs living on the boards then just look at my posts and their dates.

What happens when the UAMCC/Delux does something really important to the PW industry? This price survey get's great page rank and could be a great tool but it's out dated, poorly assembled/presented and in some cases....totally inaccurate. If we can't discuss this we'll never have any voice with your Org.
