Has anyone done this before? i needed a new berm last week. so i got this idea. I went to the local pool supply and bought some water tubes, you know , the kind that holds a winter pool cover on. i put 10# of sand in them and vermiculite. i suppose you could use bean bag chair beads. any way, i made a 4ft x 4ft and 3 - 8 ft. tubes for about $60.00, works just as good as commercial ones. mark

I would get some 5 or 6 inch rubber discharge hose and seal off the ends. Make one end where you can fill with a garden hose, fill on site. The sand is very heavy to transport.
just my .02¢
