Benefits UAMCC

I am looking for ideas on who I can call to try to get more benefits for the org such as discounts etc.
I have called many and am working on more. Some will give org discounts many will not, but I don't know if they will or will not until I ask

I'm calling all around got any ideas who else I can call, large companies Internet companies etc etc .

I am going to call places like Queensboro, Vista Prints etc etc etc You have any ideas, names or links to places post them and I will work on them.

Help us all out, its for us the contractors. Discounts are good, they help us save

Not really a discount, but if an insurer - other than you-know-who - were found to offer what we need, for decent prices, THAT would be something. Since most of us like to do business locally when possible, the name of an insurer that out local independent agents could access would be worth $$ to us.

A pw vendor that would offer free shipping on orders, from UAMCC members only, over, say $100, would be useful. (PressureTek would be a nice start, thou others would be great. In fact, if any vendors already offer this, it really should be promoted.

We do or will have calls into those businesses.
Keep the suggestions coming, no idea is to big or to small. We want to go
after everything we can for contractor.

I think the best you will see is a discount program from dist.

The idea is good John, but now one could ever sell that to the dist.

I helped on those dist committee....maybe times have changed.
