ACR Roundtable Photos Check them out,

Congratulations on a great RT folks. To all involved you get a pat on the back and a Huge Thank You. I believe this is the largest RT this year. It sounds like the most informative in wood and with 50 contractors, rated #1. I know with the economy as it is, we will probably put this RT on our list to attend. Getting Value for our dollar has to be important now. Thank you for the UAMCC TT for giving their time and effort for an upcoming PW organization. Keep up the good work folks. Thank you.

I heard Myrtle Beach was larger, by about 30 people, but even so, it is still great to have events like this.

I don't think anybody will ever top NC, attendance-wise. Or that anyone should try. 30-50 seems optimal to me.
They all have different vibes and a different focus.
All are very good, though.

How many came to AZ?

You beat me to it, Jeff.
I got distracted and didn't hit send when I finished.

You win again!
You're sooooooooo competitive.
:D

AZ was 25-30+ with Rons sales people at night hanging out with us and sharing sales info

Tahd if I come to NO are you coming to MB? I plan on having around one thousand LOL

I am going to try to pull off something a little different in 2009, educational & fun, just a great networking event. I just don't know what yet:confused:

I am really loving the RT's this year and the ones I am going to go to in 2009. I'm not trying to compete with any others or just make mine big to be big. I really had a lot of fun and want to put on a great event for all of US

Might not even be a RT who knows. I do agree that 30-60 is good for RT's

Still looking for some good stuff for MB RT 2009 any cool ideas ?

Jeff,
Hopefully we can talk some on this topic. We attend a RT yearly with 100+ contractors, and it is all business. The first year we brought back over 600 pages of info. Now we do it with cd's. Our average cost for everything is well over $500. pp. I have never come away without getting my money back and gaining new ideas and work benefits. The vendors put up most of the actual cost and there is a waiting list yearly. You are right, 10 is as important as 100. However when a group of ten get together vs. 100, there is a bit difference in what is taken home? The nice thing is that no one gains personally, we all share ideas and we all profit. There is so much to offer at a real RT. With sponsors, professional contractors sharing their experiences and knowledge. Having ideas and bonding with other contractors makes for a good experience. I believe we all took something home of value at the three RT we attended this year. NO, MB, KY. We are looking forward to the UAMCC RT's next year. Having a organization "By Contractors for Contractors" will be a good event. Keep up all the good work folks. We have a long way to go before the bell is rung!

Great Post Terry, I agree we all should work together no matter who has a roundtable.

This is why i'm offering my service to anyone that wants help.

Each and every roundtable was very different just on the basis of the person or persons having the event.

I hope the Uamcc has a convention not a roundtable. I think with what is being done by so many now with rounds they might ask there members to have smaller meeting local and build a foundation.

I want the Uamcc to have a large convention like in atlantic City of Las Vegas.

I know we will always not agree on everything Terry, bit its nice to see at least we both agree the value of rounds are very different and each and everyone has a value no matter what the value may be.

I
