I have picked a fight

I just followed up on a gutter cleaning bid I submitted for an apartment complex with 8 buildings 12 small carports and 2 large car ports. It was over 500 linear feet of gutter. I bid $3,884, thought it was kind of low because I will probably need a lift for the 3 story complexs. Found out someone will do it for $1,500. Oh well, dig your own grave...

Well I guess I'm wrong then for callin this guy out, if anyone is out there making this work then u r smarter than me, I have not figured out how to soft wash a house in 14 minutes, (17 in 4 hours) guess that makes me uneducated.

I have guy here local doing this and I have tried to talk to him, he advertises $30.00 pressure washing, and yes I do use 120 degree water for houses - chems work faster if that makes me wrong as well so be it.

I'm looking out for the man trying to do it right, that's all.

Just thought I would see what all the hooha was about so I placed my very own $99.00 house wash add, let's see if the phone rings............. ...... ....... ......... ..........:( .......... ......

Chris, please don't think I was trying to rain on your parade or call you uneducated. My 15 minute house washes were square boxes with no gutters to brush. 2 guys starting on one end of the block and 2 guys on the other using 4 8gpm machines. Those are not always typical days, most house washes take upwards of 30 to 40 minutes and pay a little better than 89 bucks.

No I'm right in the middle of Soprano land.

It's more like, ay get the freakin car and we'll go get a slice.

Exactly, I don't think quality customers are shopping on craigslist!

I disagree. I get alot of good jobs and accounts thru CL. Its all how you sell them on your company when you get there and give em your sales pitch. Havent seen much different quality of customers be it from CL or any other form of advertising I do.

Same here...

The real deal with Craigslist is that our customers most likely are NOT searching on Craigslist for us. They do however, search on GOOGLE and the Craigslist ads show up in the searches if you have titled the listing right with proper keywords.

This is the real reason for listing on that FREE site is that it gets good search results on search engines where our customers ARE looking.

I did a roof clean today off of Craigslist.
He wasn't local but it was worth it.

Two hours drive there, three hours work, two hours back.
$780 and he tipped me $20.
Paid Cash.

I'll do that every day, please.
:D

Those words are Ignorant. It makes me puke when people think that the way they do something is the only way to it.

IF ANYBODY ATTEMPTS TO "PRESSURE WASH " YOUR HOME, THEY ARE NOT EDUCATED.

Just the sound of it should send you running. In today's world with all the recources for professional power cleaning companies out there, if someone even uses the term PRESSURE WASH for a house cleaning, they are NOT pros.
