Ladder Saver Is A Huge P.o.s

Have you tried a 0050 tip with your machine?
Mike I use a #30 and #40 all the time and they work fantastic. How do you think a #50 would work on a 4gpm machine?

Not as well as the 40 and 30. But the 50 is great for the 5.5 and 8 gpm units. The test Al did compared the LS to 0030 and hose barbs but a better test would to have tested against the 0050 because his complaint was the tightness of the spray pattern. the 0030 with his machine will cause that erratic spray. The LS is a 50 orrifice. Comparing 50 to 50 is more applicable.

Also his test was with a gun with just a QC on it. A short tip on it will always have an erratic spray pattern. Try the short tips on a gun with a 3 inch lance instead.

I know what you mean. I've tried the #30 and #40 without a lance and it just doesn't work very well at all. I normally always use a 3ft lance and have 0 problems. I guess I'll just stick to what works. thanks for the info Mike. :) I'll give it a shot with an even shorter lance and see what happens.

Likewise, here in the past few months I have put 6inch wands on the guns. Basically a stream straightner. Worlds of difference compared to no wand. We use 0060's

Well for what its worth, true the first test I done first was a simple fifteen minute test.
Our latest test lated 6 days!! We have washed a rather larger 12 building apartment complex up to 4 story's high! We were using 8 and 11 gal minute machines with 14-16 ft aluminum lances.
For "Us" Water volume and the correct chemicals/applications were the key to properly clean this complex without a lift.
Bottom line is with our machines the hose barbs and other size orifices did not make it up to the last few feet, sometimes the reach of a extra foot or two makes the difference in a good job or a bad job!
That fifty dollar investment made us good money and a very good repore with the PM that is going to results in more complexes like this one.

I prefer my 12 inch wand, Im not able to get it in to all places though. Hood cleaning is different though, I know Matt swears by his 3 incher.

Try the 0050 or 0060. That hose barb is too small for your machine. 8 and 11gpm need bigger tips.

I bet that 11 gpm rocks for rinsing. :D

Come on now Larry! I can't let you make fun of my customers like that! His last name isn't Zane. It is Mayes!!!
I am lost. But then i've been there before.
What up Spencer? Where ya been?

A few weeks ago I posted about my 24' wand experience, where I pulled my boys back up in the cradle while doing a newborn giraffe immitation trying wash a house.

Someone replied praising the ladder saver so I spent my $44 and two day shipping. anxiously awaiting my new marvel of PWing engineering.

Got it in and straight to the job I go, hooked it up and spent the next hour wondering, hmmm...... wtf?

HUGE waste of money, stick with a barb or 0deg. 30 both of these well outperformed the ladder saver,

My opinion on my machine for what it's worth to ya.

YOu still around 10 years Later ?
