Get in the Door!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I had mentioned before I am reading all of Ron's post. This POST was awesome. I can't wait to use the candy jars! Is the cat out of the bag for the next idea? "Should I still use the candy jar? Or is their a new method? I really would like to use the candy jar and I plan on implementing soon.

Those of you who whittled down your list.. who made the cut? Is this for just PM's or gas stations also? McDonalds? I want to put a candy jar everywhere I can.

Something I would like to start, any feedback from those that have? Does it make it easier to talk to the decision maker, any calls from them, real estate agents good response?

This is a good thread and great idea, what other tactics have you guys used to "getting in the door"?

so I was washing a house a couple of years ago when a guy comes up and asks me if I can come by and take a look at a building he maintains. Of course I went over , gave him a bid and left. He called me three days later and I ended up doing the building for 1850 bucks. ( that was the last bid I ever gave this company ) Over the last two years I have done 14 more buildings for them. This year I have over 80 to do. some of those 80 units I did last year so now it will only take half the time which equals twice the money). ZERO selling, they ain.t even asking me to bid them, just go do them. and trust me I am charging pretty good. If this forum taught me anything it is to charge good and not to bid to low. ZERO selling. I got the work by doing quality work, charging a fair price and doing what I said I was going to do.

I personally do zero selling. I let the referals or my website handle it. It works for me.

How do you expand referrals , how do you SPEED up this process?
