Or anybody else that knows his/her way around quickbooks.

I would like to extract the E-Mail addresses of all clients. Including the ones where I only did estimates, but never did the job (basically everybody in my Customer List)

I found an option to export addresses, but that doesn't list E-Mail.

What I ultimately want to get to, is have all the E-Mail addresses in a .txt file together with their name.

Is there an easy way to do this, besides going customer through customer and writing down the E-Mail Address?

I use quickbooks online and when I need to extract information like that I make a report with the name, address and phone number, etc, then export the whole report to Excel. Then you can do what you want with the data. You can delete whole sections of the data by deleting the entire column till your only left with the data you need. It only takes a few seconds.

That's how I make my daily schedules so we have a place to write down notes next to the customer's name, address, etc.

Hey Pat

In my version of Quickbooks on the Mac I go to

Reports >> Customers & Receivables >> Customer Phone List (or Customer Contact List)

On the report screen that appears, I click on the 'customize' button.

A popup screen appears with a 'scroll menu' where I can select what items I want to be displayed on screen... just select/unselect what you want to appear on screen.

It's pretty straightforward on the mac... I imaging that since Quickbooks main platform is Windows it should be pretty intuitive once you get into the report screen/menu... is there a help menu or help file with your software. The built-in help is usually quite helpful...

hope this helps :D
