Filter Brochure

Jeff put up his brochure in the Condo Cleaning section and that seemed like a good place to start.

Here is our first brochure. We made it in 2004 or 2005.

These are full 8 1/2 by 11 four page brochures. They are glossy and very thick paper. We had to buy 4000 to get them down to 50 cents each. I think today you could do better than that with Vista Print or some place like that.

The size and quality of these helped us get started and gave us credibilty.

Some of it is outdated i.e.:
Our prices are now lower than the posted graph on prices on the brochure

One of the referrals has built a really bad reputation in town.

With what I know now I couldn't honestly tout the "cleaning the air" bit so much.

We don't use the UV light anymore. They cost $100.00 and last no time at all in a bouncy truck. Their effectiveness was questionable anyway.

We don't date filters now that we email the customer after each service.

(BTW, I spent about $600.00 in miscellaneous etchers and other hot stamp types of marking devices before I discovered that you can etch a date right into the side of an aluminum filter with a plain old screwdriver..... duh.....)
I've kept a box of them to remind me to think of the simple solutions before trying something complicated.

Old and outdated.

I never thought to take videos and pictures of our work for marketing purposes other than full blown brochures likes these till I found PWI. I certainly never took videos of our work.

Now I've got a 3 Terabyte drive almost completely full of videos and pictures. In less than 5 years of documenting the work.

I thought you just made a brochure and used it for years. Now we make a new brochure every month.
