Carwash Cleaning

Larry, HF Acid was the choice of chemical in the past for many car washes in the northeast. But due to safety issue regarding inhalation, skin contact, as well as reclaim system protection, (a lot of car washes recycle the wash water to use in the undercarriage spray in the automatic bays), they chose to formulate a different product. The two I've personally used are phosphoric acid based.

I'm attaching the MSDS I have as well as an instruction sheet.

They are checking for you Chris about the possibility of drop shipping it if you are interested.

oops, email me if you wish to have a copy...its 7 pages pdf format, said it was too large.

Who's using that one Russ?..any known results?

I can't find the one for Klean Wall which comes via Kleen Rite from ApFormulators (apchemical.com).

ps-Thanx Gary..got it! I have old Revive msds as their newer ones on their site like to see an Office install on ones computer. Can read it just can't work with it same as pdf's. I like pdf msds..

The pressure washing job in Kissimmee went well and the customer was happy with the results. 2 bays were washed with an acid based product - all in all it was a tough job to remove some of the 'dirt' in certain areas of the tile, but results were good.

Looks very good.

The tile gives the place some class over the smooth plastic.

Very Nice Steve, was there any work done on the floors? did the customer request it or was it offered?

Great job Steve. It looks like it would have been a pita. That grime is tough to remove.

thanks for the kind words guys...

oscar, the floors were wand cleaned (I know one of the after pics looks dirty, but it was just wet!!)... I was going to use the surface cleaner, but the cement was a kind of fibrous composite, so didn't want to risk it... if I had nozzles with larger orifices I may have used the surface cleaner, besides, there were a lot of tubes and metal rails and such bolted to the floor.

Larry, yeah parts of the bay were a real PITA to clean - I had my fill of scrubbing! ------ on a different subject, I tried that rust removal stuff from home depot that you recommended a while back... RESULT!!! I'm going to keep a tub of that as back up, worked really well, did you post that in the tips and tricks thread? if not, you should - like I said, I found it to work really well, so thank you!!

:D

Nice pictures George, what company sold that version of wall cleaner?

Just did a few wash bays last week and I tried Nu-Wall and Klean Wall both, and I prefer Klean Wall, it worked just as well, its a bit cheaper and supposedly HF free.
