The Flamingo had rooms for $60.00 all through February.
It looks like they go up to between $90 and $125 on the weekend of the RT.
That's a room with two queens.
So two queens could share that room.
Sounds like NOLA all over again.
Next door, to the Flamingo is Bills Casino with rooms priced about $30.00 less. Bills has an awesome steak for like 5 bucks. (you have to kill it yourself and eat it raw, but still, that's cheap)
That's still less frightening than some "pig in the ground" or "mountain oysters" is being served up in Alabama. I heard Russ is making his guys harvest their own oysters this year
There are some motels down the road as cheap as $29.00 per night, but thats offset by the higher price of crack there. (meth for you younger guys, I'm behind on the times)
These are tough times for the casinos. I'd suggest you call and bargain with them. Get a map online and find nearby casinos prices, then call the Flamingo and tell them you'd like to stay there if they will match prices. Sometimes it works.
I will be available to teach local tricks like how to get free drinks all night by sitting at a slot machine and putting in a quarter everytime you see the drink lady coming.
My son can teach you how he and his friends used to walk into a strip bar with about $4.00 each and stay for 8 hours without being beat up by the management (or the girls)
This is going to be fun.
