US Carburation sponsored us with a remote control to be given away at the Las Vegas Round Table.

We installed ours this weekend and here are the results:

I made a detailed installation video and will post that later.

Sunbrite and Delco I'm sure will send something. They always do, Bob from Pressuretek might even surprize us.

They are all event sponsors, Paul has not committed to Las Vegas yet. We have two others with some prizes I cannot mention until they tell me what they are sending for sure.

Does the choke automatically shut itself off or do you have to hit the button?

This is what is wierd. I thought I would have to put the choke on a latch switch. (and if you have to do that, you will lose the switch for the heat.)

The book says put it on the momentary switch, so that's what I did.

I hit the MOMENTARY choke switch, the choke opens then hesitates because there's just barely enough tension on the choke spring to bring it back.

So what happens is, I hit the choke, immediately hit the starter. The choke stays on and the spring brings it back once the engine starts and the engine is vibrating.

I don't know if that's how it is supposed to work, but it's worked like that for two cold mornings now.

It is a very nice setup, one of the few remotes i have seen that works...untill you drop the fob in the water I suppose.

I tried two different automobile remote starters. They all have the same problem, they are designed for fuel injected vehicles and require a tach input and they automatically shut off after a period of time, 7min, 15min,30min or 1hr. It's some safety thing mandated by the government looks like.

You don't want a hot pressure washer turning off abruptly with the burner going full blast.

I Like it, I would love to have that on my Rig... Thanks to all the Sponsors.

These guys were great. I called them and ordered a unit for myself and after asking a whole bunch of questions I determined that it would work right.

They were eager to send out a prize for the RT.

I had to call them 4 times on the install for help and they spend a lot of time on the phone helping me.

This is a bulldog alarm system modified to fit our needs (generator, pw, etc.) Bulldog won't even talk to you, but these guys are great.

They have quite the accent though and I almost had to call Russ to translate. I haven't lived in the South in a long time! :D

that is cool, I like it

I thought Celeste is the person that won it?

I bought one but have not installed it yet, hopefully this week.
