Building wash question

Any idea what to bid something like this? Can it even be cleaned? All four sides are like this. I guess a better question would be how long should it take to do the job. I can make the bid from there. And how much it should take in chems. I can do it all from my own bucket lift.

Hey Tony, I did a building much worse than this in fl. it came out great.
But there was a problem in those white rain caps on top where black mold was coming down from. They were not sealed, or crack so after 6months it started to come down the building again. Do to water getting under them.
Hey see if you can do the windows.
Do you know if you are the only one bidding on this job?

I bid these guys for air filter service 4 years ago. Our price was high due to the fact that most of the filters were interior and not on the roof so they went with a competitor.

I went back today to try to put in a bid on coil cleaning and wondered if it would be possible for me to clean the building too.

They are not actively seeking bids, but I spoke with the maintenance manager today and he told me to call back tomorrow and he would arrange a meeting with the higher ups about it.

I think most of the stains are from the aluminum window casings.

I don't have to worry too much about rain in the near future. As a matter of fact, if I do it in August I don't have to worry about rain for about 8 months!:D

Tony it is a tough call cause you are out there and I am in front of my computer on time and chem. I would try a small spot when you go back.
But with a boom lift should be 1day with 2or 3 people. But if you are not sure estimate on 2days.
Is it hard to move your lift? I have only used the 4wd boom lifts.

Funny your posting this, just got a hospital this week. Sold it with a stencil that was there for maint people over three months.

No building washing yet...

Maybe I should stencil the side of the building?

I'm trying to get a meeting with the head of maintenance tomorrow. They have 30 buildings and their concrete looks pretty rough. I'd like to get the coil cleaning and have Chris get the concrete. We'll see. The building washing would be a bonus.

Its so tall I could park in the middle and do almost an entire side. This building is only about 34 ft tall. I have access all the way around. The first picture is almost the entire building. It's not very big.

I'm 99.99% that the stains are not mold. There is no such thing as mold outside here in the desert. Those look like hard water oxidation and it comes off with acid. It's basically like rust. Crap...let me see if I can find that website that had a chem that all the skirtworkers swear by...

I'm pretty sure this is the company.

If those are aluminum window frames or have aluminum in the structure, that would most likely be aluminum oxide bleed stains.

Tony, give me a call when you are up today. Several chemicals I have told you about would most likely take care of it if you found them locally. I have some comments for you.

Just guessing I'd think you could do that with your lift at 2.5-3hrs per side but I'd bid 2 days to give some dwell and a lot of rinsing time if needed....Bid 14 hrs = 2days, w/ no issues wrap it up at lunch on day 2. Other bidder probably bid 16 hr two day,,, you cut him 2 hrs and get the bid still with some head scratchin time w/ no issues and 2hrs to play with if you run into issues.

Prosoco's heavy duty restoration cleaner, or eachochems safe restore will remove those stains. The Prosoco brand will remove it much faster than eachochems but it's a hotter acid base of hydrofloric.

Be careful with Heavy Duty Restoration cleaner. I've had it bleach out stucco big time. Start with it really diluted and then move up in strength.

That saferestore has really done a job on what I've tried it on and it is very friendly. It's all about the chems
