    Pressure washing gear??

What do you all wear when you are out pressure washing? Any special protective clothing? Apart from rubber boots and advertising your company on a t-shirt.

I'm with you Chris. Never found rubber boots that didn't hurt my feet. I use waterproof hunting boots.

After all the years of delivering dry cleaning I wear the tried and true Walmart boots with a custom zipper added by the local shoe guy (from the residential air filter days when I had to go into houses.) The soles wear out too fast on more expensive boots. I also dye them dark brown so they don't look so dirty all the time.

The only difference is that now I have to waterproof them every week or so with that beeswax stuff.

My rubber boots hurt my feet too much.

Chris wears rubber boots and he likes them. (He also carrys a whip)

Sometimes I wear goggles if I'm using caustic in an enclosed LARGE evaporator coil.

Chris wears rubber gloves when mixing caustic.

My guys all wear gortex boots and pants. Walmart brand boots stink, the pants are ok for 8 dollars. They always wear other cloths under them.

Tractor supply has the Georgia Boots that are rubber bottoms and leather uppers.

They have arch support and are lined inside, awesome and comfortable.

Everyone that works for me has at least one pair of these. Best waterproof boots you will ever buy. They were like bedroom shoes, don't slide around, are snug, and weigh 4 ounces each.

I always bring an extra pair of dry socks, shirt, and pants. I had a bought with pneumonia a couple of years ago from washing. Being wet all day can take you out of commission for a few weeks.

I would add hearing protection to the list of safety gear.

Muck boots, Latex/neoprene gloves, wrist wraps (I am getting old, and I hate floppy wrists. At least I am not living in San Francisco.) Safety glasses with an insert for my prescription.

Muck Boots all the way here. They aren't cheap, but they are necessary for me. Light, comfortable and chemical proof. I also wear Dickies pants in blue and Dickies button up brown work shirts. Never seen anything handle bleach so well. I also wear Atlas 370 series nitrile gloves.

Muck boots SUCK on a roof. We carry senakers in the trucks for when we clean gutters. Gemplers has them for around $75. I just placed an order last months for 7 pairs. Two for me and the rest for my guys. They were, and may still, running a special where you paid a S/H fee of around $40 and that covered any orders for one year. Not a bad deal. I buy a lot of stuff from them.
