Wal-Mart Wastewater Policy For Pressure Washing

Did I counter

Yes. Ron, had a sit down with the guy in charge of my area. Performed a demo. They did not want to hear a thing we had to say. There attitude was the price is the price. Take it or leave it.
Not washing the entire front of the store,at night, for a meer $--- per service.

I can fill that slot with work we can make money on. This is the way I think about it.

How often for that Price? Bi weekly Bi-monthly monthly ???

The budget is over 4 digits per month for sidewalks in front.

I'm just curious if you understood the terms or maybe they are confused. Unless your area is Jacked!!!

Funny we were talking about this and I recieve a call yesterday from USM. They want us to send them a new quote including rust removal and a few other things we talked about in our little sit down. Maybe they are coming to there senses. Four digits !! Not here. I cant say here online how much
they offered us. We will work on it. More to come.

So my wife went to work at Wal-Mart this morning at 5 A.M. She text me and told me a pressure washer was there. She took a photo with her phone. It was a F150 with a camper shell. One machine in the back, she said the guy was running a surface cleaner and the other guy was plugging in a HUGE fan that W.M. uses to dry out when people come in because of all the water from the snow melting. But no cones, no hot water, no reclaim (I really dont know if they need reclaim or not). The truck had no logo's or anything.

I don't know Ron. I assumed it was since you posted his logo and have talked to him in the past.

I was asking, he had Walmarts in St Louis for around two years. May be him or not. Lots of different guys servicing them since the contract expired 2009 july 31st

Robert Four years Later hows this going?
Just picked up several Wal-Marts for weekly and monthly surface cleaning. They require reclaim. I'm having a hard time finding out what Wal-Mart is going to require me to do with the captured waste water. Will I be able to filter and dump it on-site into a landscaped area? If I have permission from my POTW, can I just discharge down the sanitary sewer on-site? I will be doing sidewalks only.

For those of you that do Wal-Marts and reclaim, what is their policy on discharging waste water?

I've searched countless threads and web pages about this question but I can't find a solid answer. Thanks for any help.

who was Responsible for this?

Now they deal through Service Channel is my understanding. I was contacted and offered a NTE amount to clean one through yet another outfit working UNDER service channel. Yes not 1 but now 2 middle men. Its all good though... I found out a lot of info I wouldn't have otherwise and have the blessing of a store manager to try and go direct because of them.

I like Dealing direct, can't stand third party

Anyone doing WalMart currently? I have two locations I have been contacted about for service but the managers honestly have little clue on specifications for reclaim and treatment. One wasn't aware reclaim was required and had some "guy" doing it (no reclaim of course) that would never show up. Jumping through the hoops now for approved vendor status but they certainly don't make it easy!

Chris S was doing over a dozen of them for and NSC but it didn't work out. They were all built on compliant properties so they only wanted reclaim on the entrances because of slip and fall liability.
