In Parking Garage Cleaning 101,

How many do extra's in a parking garage cleaning and do you charge for them?

There are:

The walls, Gum, Filtration, Columns, Stairs, walkways, dumbsters in some cases.


List them here... what else is there? Trust me there is more.
 
Curb Stoppers, Overhead Pipes, Cieling...
 
It all depends. I don't necessarily have an Ala Carte menu. I find out what the people want, and then I give it to them. Usually it is a standard sq. foot price, because it always seems to work out.
 
I'm huge on Pricelists, customer love them also.

You will find the upsell comes easy, like an e-mail please include this or that.

I dont have to go look i just work order it an we do it.

I also follow Scotts rules, but give them the list incase they want to ad.

The nice thing is that nothing is mistaken. How many times have you heard i thought the Pipes would be included in a cieling rinse? Or i thought Stairwells would be done based on Square footage in garage?

I don't usually charge extra for dumbsters. They've got enough problems without me taking advantage of them.....:p
 
We have started cleaning parking decks this year. We won a nice city contract for 2 decks and more as needed. We will be doing one next weekend. The walls are filthy but the did not want them cleaned. All they wanted was the floor. We will be using the H2O boy filter to reuse the water.

make sure you charge enough or you will be told off around here;)

Sounds like you got it under control. The H2O water boy is a decent filtration unit. Make sure you comply with the sanitation district requirements for discharge. I suggest that you make an appointment with them first. Let them now that you are in their area for discharging into their system.
