looks outstanding. i will definitely spread the word.

Just got some simple cherry and F13 the other day. The simple cherry makes my garage smell great! I'm gonna x-jet it and see what I get. Very few people are concerned about gutters around here. I usually use it as a perk to separate my company from the Craigslist guys.

I have got to try Simple Cherry someday. Concentrate doubles as an air freshener, great, I could use it in my boots

Sorry to bump this, but it might answer some new comers questions when it comes to gutter concerns. We mixe f-13 at 1 cup per gallon of h2o and brush all gutters and window seals. This is the best way to clean them ( proof is on our Facebook page ) we tried simple green, purple power, different sh cleaners, ds f-13 in hw mix nothing worked as well as stated above. You may be able to dilute a little more, but for lower dwell time and less elbow grease this is the best! Hope this helps someone. One side note: be very careful to rinse very well while brushing as not to leave any spatter on siding as it will leave marks from taking off oxidation! We learned this the hard way ( streaked under every window and had to go back and brush every inch of vinyl to remove oxidation)

I like using Mean Green. You can buy it for $5.00 a gallon at Dollar General. I put the whole gallon in a five gallon bucket and just brush it on my gutters and hose it off. I can usually do a couple houses a day with one gallon. I let it sit for about a minute and do 8-10 foot sections at a time. You don't want to let it dry so thats why I do 8-10 foot sections. works great for me and cheaper than Gutter Zap.

We starting using a product this year we got from WalMart call Spray Power. It is the best product we have found and it doesn't burn is you happen to get some on you by accident. We have even used it on pump pads at Murphy's USA and it help greatly on removing oil and grease. Last week we tried it on red clay stains on vinyl and it was greatly reduced. However not all WalMart carry it we have only found it in Crossville TN. they tell me all stores can carry it but some elect not to stock.

I look forward to experimenting with all the different chemicals that I've read about on PWI (making a proprietary mix is gonna be fun...brings out the mad-scientist in me!). But before those chemicals arrive, I have a couple of house-washes to do... and both have black stained gutters AND eaves.

I do have gutter zap and simple green on hand, and wanted to ask the group if anyone has had success down-streaming these chemicals on tough gutter stains. If not, what dilution do you recommend for direct spraying?

Thanks!

We have never had success ds chemicals without having to brush. I would love to know the trick or maybe the stains here are just another animal lol. With that said, we have gotten every stain off by mixing 1 gal water with 1 cup of F-13 brushing on and rinsing well. Check out pix on Facebook page, it works perfect!

We did the same thing. A real time killer. Applying in to gutters and allowing it to splatter on siding will cause problems also.

no need to brush if you own an x-jet..i dont cut it except with the xjet..used to cost me 15-20 dollars to spray a decent sized house like this..but i have found a much cheaper product roughly 4$ a gallon instead of 20$..
I would really LOVE to believe this works without brushing. I have never heard of anyone clean a gutter without brushing. I won't even quote a gutter upgrade on two story home because of brushing. I have used Bobs product for three years.
If an x jet worked with Mean Green Ill be buying one.

F-13 is the best I have found so far. I use it with both a pump sprayer and on a saturated gutter pad. The one really bad side usually takes some brushing but no dwell as it rinses clean right after brushing. The lesser stained sides I have had great results using a sprayer and letting it dwell for a couple minutes tops, my guy on the ground hits it with the xjet to rinse while I move the ladder down and spray the next section. I have also found that the black scuffs and streaks that won't come off with the house wash come right off with F-13. I will check the siding after washing and hit up the leftover marks with a spray bottle and rag.
