I just tried Sun Brite's "Remove". WoW! Thier deck stripper really does the job. And is it ever easy to use. Price isn't too bad either. Wish I knew about this stuff before. Anybody doing decks should try it out. They can be reached at 770 277-6363. Even my customer was amazed at the results I got. She was so happy I got more work from her than I origanaly bid. I'm going to try thier Ready Seal on it in a few days. I hope those results are as good as promised. Anybody out there use Ready Seal? The guy who sold me the stuff, Tracy, said it was top notch. Anyone else feel that way? I can't wait to see it on this deck. If it works like he said, then I'm sold. Not the cheapest around, but I'm not about cheap. I'm about Quality. So far his claims about the "remove" were right on. Hope the rest is true.

Yes, Ready Seal is very good...........many advantages. I have been using it since 1998.

But, you must be very careful, the wood has to be 12% moisture or less (measured with moisture meter) in order for RS to penetrate properly.

I used Ready Seal for a couple of years without a moisture meter, and I guarantee that was the source of the only problems I have ever had with it.

Sometimes, I find myself testing a deck, and it will have say 15 percent, too much to seal, and I know that in the past, I would have eyeballed it as being dry enough.

Do yourself a favor, invest in a moisture meter.

Absolutely invest in a moisture meter. This is a must have tool.

If you liked the remove, wait till you see what the brightner does. I won't go without it. No need to rinse the brightner either. After extensive phone conversations with Chris Detter, I was sold. Even more after I used it. I apply the brightner after every strip or clean. What a difference it makes.

Give the readyseal a good try. It will be worth your time. Like Mike said, you HAVE to be 12% of better in the moisture.

Less is better

A Great thing about Ready Seal, is using alot less actually looks and performs better, I always use 2 lite coats, and I do mean lite, and the decks always look awesome, usually about 30-40 minutes in between coats, with a deckster, I try and get at least 150 sq ft per gallon if not more...:)

Oh never mind, title thru me.
