We have an F 450 we just bought, love it, 6.0 Diesel 2003.
Has 121.000 on it, all hi way miles, used to haul pine straw, well maintained.

i just got this truck out of the shop. them 6.0 liters are pricey to repair
but well worth it. truck has no problems towing or hauling water it just dosent know its there. it currently has 198000 miles and still going strong

Hey Robert, is that guy still out in Apache Junction that drives the Chevy dually with the rig in back with two cold water machines? You have probably seen him, he used 5 gallon gas cans with a hose in them as tanks for his machines, and they were tied to the rack with a bungee cord.
I really wish I still had pictures of the set up. It has probably burned up by now.

I had seen him last year but dont remember anything about the gas cans. this dually i had seen was dark green with his hose reels mounted to his tail gate
come to think of it I havent seen any other PW out this way lately and just picked up a couple more car lots after there other PW folded up.

You both are whack! Everyone knows 6.0s are royal pieces of crap that cant last 10k miles let alone 100k.

I do agree with ya but mine trully has 198000 on it. I belive in the horror storys about the 6.0 and i just spent over 3000 fixen oil leaks and injector problems with it. just couldnt afford a new or used truck at this time. my next truck going to be a 7.0 or duramax. ever here the story about the 6.0 turbo drawing oil from the engine and not being able to shut it down
