I guess its been talked about here before, but I would like to know some great ways to bid higher and still be able to get the winning bid. I saw you mentioned getting involved politically, i usually get building managers who dont seem to care that much about the quality of work, they just want a cheap rate, what are some of the ways we can get them TO notice/ care more?

Jim, grab the mic, the spotlight is on you, here is your 15 minutes of fame.

Preach on.

To ALL:

I have been on a very political job site. This is our 2nd biggest paying job in the last 20 years of doing business. As most of you know, ALL of our business is word of mouth with the exception of this year where we did receive 3 opportunities for cleaning Parking Garages across the country and here in California, of which I gave the leads to members here on PWI and I kept one and completed it a few months ago.

We are not in the yellow pages, nor do we mail out flyer's or post cards. We are considered an elite garage cleaning company who will go around any unusual issues and fix the problems at hand no matter of the financial costs or what effort the issue requires to make it right. We DO NOT sugar coat the issues at hand, in fact, we spell it out in detail. Once the customer is aware of the issues.... that's the last time they have to deal with them. We make their issues go away in a timely manor, but most of all issues are gone.... legally. On less thing to worry about.

Jim, I want you to get every parking garage in California. (But if you bring that wretched reclaim trailer to Nevada I've already found a good spot out in the desert where we can ..... uh....."talk" about it... )

Things are different here. If the Casinos ever had to reclaim they'd have 100 illegals with buckets at the bottom of the garage chasing the runoff around.:D
