Magic Jack

We have used one at the hose for the past year. You need to have a decent computer on 24/7. It works great for us. I now bought a second for a business number, and have it forwarded to were I need it directed at that time. Great product for $39 :D

Glad you mentioned that, I was thinking about getting it for a dedicated fax line. Here they want $50.00 per month for another line for a fax.

also try skype i think its better I have the magic jack also it works great. But with skype no hardware is needed just install the software on several computer and log onto your phone. For your fax go with "myfax.com" $10 per month for 100 pages and on and on depends on your needs.

never used magic jack...gotta try it still. But I second the Skype comment. Every business should use Skype esp for inside office communication

Anyone have any experience with this? It's one of those "sounds too good to be true" deals.
Gary from the RCIA has used Magic Jack for years Rick, and seems happy with it.

New Magic Jack

I saw the new infomercials and commercials for the New Magic Jack and it seems like it would be a great idea.

The thing that caught my attention the most is that you can keep your old phone number................

If I understand this correctly, I can keep my landline business phone number and cancel my AT&T service?

What about Call forwarding to my cell when out of the office?

What about call waiting?

What about the other features of having a carrier?

I would like to cancel AT&T if I can keep the features like call forwarding and call waiting and keep the phone number I have had for about 10 years now if that is possible.

Anyone tried the New Magic Jack?

Thanks.
