My new trailer build

your u-tube says it all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RSgRulzrvA ,

now i think i feel sorry i bought a mosmatic. we will see.

do you use 3.0 tips in the eagle. You knew the Hydros came with a deublin spinner as an option, according to the search I did there is an ANT3D.

Yes, 1503's on the Steel Eagle with the new machines. Blazes through the drive thru's that I've been using my 5.5 GPM machine on up until recently.

I have a 'custom' surface cleaner and the mosmatic swivel spins like butter! I mean its effortless, i don't see how it could spin any faster. Maybe it's because of the actual ball bearings at the bottom that it rolls around on? I haven't seen that on the other brands. I've said before, they spin and spray water - the differences in the actual cleaning could only be something you could change - tip angle, nozzle lean angle, number of bars. That mosmatic will work great, just replace the trigger with a ball valve and add full size hose if it's not.

Dbrogan, get your signature setup, if you need help just ask but it is a requirement here.

Near the top where you see User CP, click that and it takes you to your personal info and you can get your signature setup there.

Tom that was just based on video I have seen of dueblin vs mosmatic, they seem to spin faster (dueblins).

I hope to make that a video, rpm difference of surface cleaners with the same cleaning unit pressure washer.

What kind of increase in production Jim?

With the 24" Steel Eagle and my 5.5 GPM machine, I might average 150 sq ft and hour, including rinsing. With the 9 GPM machine and the 28" Hydro Spinners, I'm over 5000 sq ft per hour. The rinsing goes 300% faster.

Thats much faster, probably saying why you did not do this earlier.

Imagine when you run a 60" Surface cleaner with your units.

Just noticed my typo. I meant 1500 square foot per hour with the Steel Eagle.

150 sq ft an hour, I might as well stay at home.

yea thats one well designed surface cleaner and your rig's a beauty. Is the (spot remover) gum removal nozzel easy to use? seems like it would be hard to see exactly where to shoot it? is there a seperate trigger to use it?
Kudos to you!

Haven't even tried the 6 shooter gum nozzle. All you do to use it is switch the quick connect from the water broom over to the 6 shooter. I will someday. My experience, at least here in this pizza oven also known of as Phoenix, the best way I have found to remove gum is low pressure, HIGH heat and down at a 10 to 15 degree angle. No etching, gum just melts away.

The 6 shooter looks to be angled, maybe at a 120 degree angle (never measured the angle, just eyeballed it). I'll give it a shot next job I have that the concrete is well cured.

ooooh awwww I love it.
Your image is now top notch.
Nice install.

very nice congrats looks like your ready to do some serious cleaning good luck,

Just upgraded the 3/8" hose to 1/2" hose WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a difference.

After probably over an hour on the phone with Hydro Tek, researching friction loss and the expert advice those on this forum provided, I now have both the PSI and GPM at the business end. Retail cost of the 500" of 1/2" hose, plus the 2 jumper hoses, and all the new Hansen SS plugs and couplers was almost $1800.00. Not going to divulge exactly how much money I got the distributor to accept, but I will say I spent way less than $500.00.

With 300' of 3/8", I was getting 2500 PSI. Now with 250' of 1/2" on each reel, I'm getting 3350 PSI and almost 9 GPM. The Hydro Twisters are really light and now they're almost hovercrafts. And using the water broom on my 2 ANT3C is now like pushing a Lear jet.

Hannay claims that 300' of 1/2" would fit on the reels I have. I doubted it, thus the reason I went with 250'. Good thing, cause there is no way 300' of 1/2" would fit.

Thanks again to those that offered their assistance and professional advice.

how about the arms? lol.

I know what you mean about the surface cleaners, my new mosmatic 30 inch just floats at 8.5 3300psi 200ft 1/2" and the weight on that commercial FL-CRY750 SC is 34.1 lbs

Arms are sore as hell Nigel. I've got parts on me hurting that I didn't even know I owned !!!

Next time you hear of a reported UFO sighting in the Phoenix area, might be one of my guys who got so fatigued he took a ride . LOL !!!
