I wanted to say thank you to Tony for all his help yesterday and today in my crash course on coil cleaning.
I received a call from a company out of Virginia that has a remote high frequency antenna site about 50 miles east of me.They had BARD a/c units on both antenna towers and the equipment room for a total of 6.They were looking for someone who could take their own water to their site.(I live in the country, but this place is in the coouuunnntttrryyy.I think they have to pump sunlight in.)
I gave Tony a call and he walked me through what I would need to do.what to watch out for, what chemicals, safey precautions and what pressure was best to get the job done.
I called him again around lunch time(my time) to get some reassurance and go over the anything I may have forgot from yesterday. He told me they were easy cleans and shouldn't take to long to do.Boy was he right...I cleaned the 6 evaporator coils and 6 condenser coils in 3 hours.I used about 1 gallon of chem and less than 100 gallons of water.
As I was locking the gate the guy from Virginia called to let me know the temps in each building were already dropping and he couldn't believe how quickly I was able to handle their situation and do the job.
We pulled down $300 and hour and they have asked about cleaning the domes over each antenna,as well as,asked that we come on site yearly to do the A/c units.
Thank again Tony.I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out on this.:happydance::happydance::happydance:
