I walked away, instead of making it worse.

It would of been over the second I saw that POS beating his dog. Good for you, walking away. You're a bigger man than I.

Probably some liberal disappointed with the "messiah's" broken promises.

I thought something similar to that.
Alot of folks see their world crashing down around them. Then they attack the weak.

He thought I was weak to keep taking his words ( insults) until he realized why I really had issues with him.

Let him talk, I don't really care in this case.

We all lost today, and I literally thought how I might have brought a bruise to the perception of the industry via public eye.
But in this case. RIGHT ON :big_boss:

That works for those that can keep their cool.

I literally asked myself if I am going to be able to ride this project out.
I literally answered myself and said, only if you want to end up in jail because you know you are about to give him a mouthful.

I didn't keep that kind of cool Alexy.

Just hoping to not ever have a replay of this.

I readily admit that I have a very high tollerance for ...holes. It is also good on your part you know your limits and needed to walk away.
"Everybody's got to know thier limits"......... Dirty Harry, Magum Force 1972

There is absolutely no excuse for beating any animals.. Dogs are the most loyal friend you can ever have... Mine act's up and all I have to say is Kennel!
He knows that's jail for him and absolutely hates it!

Your right the dog was doing his job for this prick! And then it gets it's ass kicked for it!!! Makes no seance!

Alexy, you're a trip! You know you Eastwood huh

I guess beating my cat is a bad thing to you guys then geez! Lol j/k I agree it's screwed up but in business you still gotta get paid for what ya do. If there was 100 guys it would've been 100 diff ways it wouldve been handled. At least you didn't beat the guy which he probably deserved anyways

See the avitar.....
<-----------------------------:yes4:

It's actually "A man's got to know his limits."

So you feeling lucky punk!!

Don't even beat your chicken around these guys :nono:

Personally, I would have instructed my crew to 'pack it in' much earlier than you did. The dog situation would have just about finished it for me, personally.

When I have a customer that follows me around, scrutinizing each and every move, after reassuring the customer that they will be satisfied with the final product, I have usually pull the customer aside, ( away from my crew ), and politely ask them to permit us to complete our job, at which time we will do a full and complete walk through of the job site.

I then explain that some areas require more intensive work, and we need to allow time for our chemicals to do their work, and other areas may require even more extensive work to complete the job to their satisfaction.

At this time, when needed, I reiterate that once we have completed our job, I will personally walk them through the job so they can inspect our final product. At which time, if anything is not done to their satisfaction, we will correct it... right there and then.

I finish this by saying something to the effect of, 'this is fair, don't you agree'??

If they agree with me at this basic point, we continue our work as usual... otherwise, I have my crew to 'pack it in'.

I have only had this situation occur twice and on both occasions, ( both commercial, btw), we finished our work and the customer was pleased with our 'final , walk through, product'.

I'm sure this is going to come as a surprise to many here but I'm way too sarcastic to let something like that slide.

Things like:

"That's the way to keep that dog in line! - Dogs are stupid and need a hard beating like that some times.....my brother works for the SPCA and he disagrees with me. Wait till I tell him how good that beating you gave your dog worked!"

Or,

"I sure hope you didn't kink my hose standing on it like that. The manufacturer voids the warranty for standing on it and I just paid $700.00 for it last week."

I lay in bed at night working on stuff like that.....:grin-devilish:

Very funny Tony as always. hahahahaha

I have had my share of pesky people. I tell them that they have to stay inside as my insurance will not cover anything or them when they are outside and they will get soaked and covered with dirt and mud if they are outside when I am cleaning, very easy to do and it works good. hahahahaha

A couple times they are trying to stand near me and I let the water ricochet off the wall or ground and let them know that I am serious and then I turn around and tell them that they are about to get soaked so they need to go inside, they go inside at that point.

I had a guy standing on the hose and told him that it is slippery and I don't want to yank it hard and him fall down or trip over it, he did not believe me and I yanked the hose when walking and he fell over, I looked back and told him that it is dangerous to be around hoses when people are working, he went inside.

There are ways to get around things but animal cruelty is another story. I probably would have given him a piece of my mind sooner or later but he would be inside the house or he would be soaken wet. I don't like to mess around or play games when working.

I hope you were able to at least spray the highest point on the house and get some back spray on the crackhead while he was shadowing you......I have had them walk behind me and I have to explain to them that if they do not want to have spotted clothes they need to let me finish before coming out to inspect.

You have to sometimes wonder about these property owners and their conduct. It takes a lot to hold ones composure, particularly in the presence of animal or any other type of physical abuse. You did the right thing!!!

Probably one of those crazy dudes screaming at the town hall meetings lol...

I have had customers follow me around, and even try and help me buy pulling the hose or moving a ladder. If they dont get in my way i dont care but i do warn them about the chemical.

I think they just want to feel usefull and get away from the wife. I have a funny story about a woman who pulled into a Walgreens we were cleaning at night. It was a 24 hr store and she pulled in and ran over all my lines and went into the store.

I pulled the beast up and blocked her in while we were steaming the walls and colums in front of the store she walked right in between the poles while my guy was hitting it with 8 gpm hot water.

Long story short she didnt get hurt but was all dressed up for her fri night out, when she came around the other side of the colum all her make-up and hair was a bit messed up and running down on her blouse. She wanted the police to come and make a report, all the while she was parked on my hoses and in a handicap parking spot, total bitch!!

Well she called the cop's and they gave her a $250.00 fine for parking in a handicap spot without a permit, she tried like hell to move her car when she fiqured out why i was telling her to go ahead and call them, i will wait.

AHHHH Revenge is sweet !!

Nick that is priceless!!!! I love it when things work out just right. That story couldn't have ended any better!!

That is a good one!!!

I wish more people would get tickets for parking in the handicap spots when there is nothing wrong with them.

It's not always easy to keep your composure amongst the lemmings.

That must have felt good to know that Karmatic justice actually occurs.

It's funny how she caused her own delay being in such a hurry.

After the fourth "inspection" of his I'd tell him if you know so much about the process, chemicals and pressure involved in doing my job, Here's the wand! and I'd hand it too him.

Then tell him your welcome to do the whole thing yourself but the equipment rentals going to cost you an extra $100 above the orginal price. Or, you can just sit back inside and have a beer while I do the job correctly.

Somethng about those late night customers at Walgreens....I was cleaining one,,,,similar deal, Lady parks up front right where I was cleaning the side walk....so I figure since she is in a P.O.S. truck she will not care if the mist from the surface cleaner gets on the truck so I continue to clean....when she comes out she is like spaced out or something.....she starts circling her truck,,,,looking it over and makes it back to the front. Well there is a MISSING head light.....not busted,,,,,,MISSING!!!! LMAO
She looks at me and asked, did you do that....I fell out laughing,,,couldnt help it......well that pissed her off bad..... short end of story....I had to get my composure and explain to ther that the light had been MISSING for a pretty good while due to the amount of dirt in the particular area where the head light should be........I was about to flipp out on this chick!!!!!

Be careful at Walgreens......fruit loops shop there late at night!!!!
