How long has the P.W.N.A. been doing business? It sounds like not very long. I would like to help our business to go to the next level! I'm not sure how close we are. I'm new to this sight and wondering what is P.W.N.A. all about. I got some response from my last post but did not know who said what. It sound like a lot of, we are doing this, and that, but i'm not sure what is really going on.How many members are there? How is becoming a member going to make me money? I dont want to sound like a ass but that is the bottom line. If it can .. i'll show you the money! MARK W.

Mark,

The PWNA just celebrated its tenth anniversary.

This fall, our meeting is going to be in Pittsburgh, PA...........within driving distance of you and I. I think you would benefit greatly by attending the show.........I know I did.

Becoming a member is not going to "make you money". However, the relationships I developed and the things I learned from attending the meetings have improved my bottom line for sure, even more then bulletin boards.

See you in the fall.

Mike
I think improving someone's bottom line can be considered making money

Hello Mark and Welcome to the BBS.

The phrase "Taking it to the Next Level"

I have heard folks use this expression many times. My question is What is the next level and will you know when you get there?

You'll be the last to know if you're not a member.

And, you won't be part of the solution if you're not a member.

Stay tuned.

Mark, welcome to the BBS...

I have a different attitude about the PWNA and making money. I have made money by being a member. I have found customers that care about if i belong or not. making your customers aware of the PWNA is what you need to do.

its clearly and advantage to belong. some dont see the reasons and thats ok. I belong and probably will belong unless someone puts something better together.

organizations should be supported by members and i support the PWNA 100%.

i dont agree with all the members but i will unite and support these guys.(no organization is perfect.)

Mike where have you been?

You should chime in here when you can

Ron--Mike is long gone. He is in a different line of work. He actually chatted me up a few months ago to see how things are going. Good guy...... He was the main person who asked me to consider on getting involved with the PWNA back then when he was on the board as was Beth. Mike soon after resigned and Beth in no time became and executive BOD. She would have and should have became the first female president of the PWNA. I have never regretted those two asking me to get involved. Thru it all with some great times and some real stressful times I somehow recieved this when my term expired as Treasurer. Brian Penny presented this to me and that meant alot.

Today Beth is doing well, Mike Hughes is doing well in his new line of work and Brian Penny what can you say. He is the Chair person for his counties health dep't. http://www.bridgewaterma.org/Government/Depts/Health/ I think we all learned something from our PWNA involvment and it wasn't all bad. I would do it again with these people....but we all know its only memories now.

So, join the PWNA and move to the next level of employment?

LOL... Its called learning from life experiences and all these people had leadership roles in the PWNA. Since your still PWNA Tony because your membership has expired yet I nominate you to the Board.... Common man just do it:bow-down::bow-down:

My $400 sticker remains painted over. One day some poor unsuspecting soul will have acquired my old truck when it's a rolling heap and will have no idea that at one time, under a thin layer of paint, there was a sticker worth more then the truck. :)
