Houston Police Department's Environmental Enforcement Di

Pressure Washing in Houston.

So, now that things are changed, are there things in writing, on the internet, on the city's website or anywhere else that we can look up and see what exactly they are expecting if I were to go and do a job there in Houston, say a parking lot or garage or other large area of concrete where I would like to process/filter the wash water and send it to the sanitary sewer?

Is the waste water dept. ok with this, anyone know?

What else/ where else do I need to look to keep up to date with this stuff?

Thanks.

Don't rely on a grand announcement. Nothing was wrong except a few miss interpretation.

A couple people abusing there authority.

Know the jurisdiction and your rights.

The city of Houston reduced from three prosecutors down to a half.

This means we are not being targeted. Doesn't mean you won't get a ticket if your working on a connected property. Especially if your being stupid.

Doug has a site that can help determine connected property's.

Also chris if your planning on working there are still other laws the city has not changed. We are continuing onward with this mess.,

Chris you attended the same one I did the first time. Take a look at the new video and see the change.

Sargent Walsh talks about getting warrants instead of violating your rights on private property.

They will need to wake a judge unless you are posing a obvious threat to the ms4.

This would mean they need a crime being committed.

Simply washing a walk reducing pollution is not a crime. Remember your reducing pollution not causing it. If you practice that way and they cannot prove your a polluter you should never get prosecuted.

No one can guarantee you won't receive a ticket. That will depend on your knowledge.

What Ron says. plus, using sanitary is handled on a case by case basis. you would have to contact that department and get proper permit to dispose of in Sanitary drain. Enforecement will tell you they have no problem with you using sanitary, but they do not have the final word. Do your due diligence when planning to clean parking garages and look out for the ratters cause they are still out and about.

I thought that the rats would have been gone by now, I guess they have nothing better to do.

I guess once a rat, always a rat.

Maybe they think that if they rat on enough contractors, they will not be fined as bad when they are caught doing the same things or worse than the contractors that they are ratting out? I have heard from several contractors that those rats have done the same things and worse but have not been caught or ratted out on yet. Maybe all those that got ratted out on by that golden company should get together and rat out that company to teach them a lesson? hahahahaha

Thanks for the info Doug. Do you have the site or numbers for the sanitary dept?

Doug are you around?

People usually don't change much.

I really appreciate how much help Ron did to help the city of Houston, Texas.

Ron went there many times to help out the city of Houston and the contractors there, trying to reverse the way things were there because of the wrong information by the wrong people. With Ron there helping the city officials and giving them the right information to change things, things are better there.

I am glad that Ron is the president of the UAMCC as this great person that not only has about 30 years experience in this industry but has extensive knowledge in cleaning environmentally friendly and knowledge of how to help contractors properly so they are compliant and not need to buy non-needed equipment which saves them a lot of money if things were not changed for the better but also helps the contractors there to stop getting fined wrongly.

Thanks Ron, I know you will keep on leading the UAMCC in the right direction, the direction best for the contractor and not vendor.

Can anyone post, pm, or email the latest copy of the wash water regulations? Thanks.

The regs have never been the issue, the perception and interpretation of Houston pollution division has been the problem.

Think late nite tv infomercials when you read this:

Has your city been targeted by an unscrupulous pressure washer vendor from Texas?

Have you been harrassed by a pressure washer vendor from Texas?

Have your city regulators and officials been told that your bmp's are illegal and for a fee your bmp's can be made legal?

Have your city regulators and officials been harrassed by a vendor in Texas demanding that they answer many, many questions about pressure washing?

Have your city regulators and officials been told that you can have a new revenue source that will not cost you much to implement?

Have your POTW, Storm Water Division, Sanitary Sewer Division and other departments that deal with water, wash water and storm water been targeted and harrassed by this vendor from Texas?

If you can answer to any of these questions and we have a longer list available, you might be thinking about how to get this vendor from texas to stop harrassing you, you are not alone as this vendor is harrassing many city municipalities all around the country trying to get them to pay them to change their bmp's and make regulations stricter for the hard working pressure washing contractors that are only working hard to remove pollution and cleaning up our great cities.

Many contractors have been illegally harrassed, fined, cited and issued tickets in the wake of this vendor doing their little magic in cities around the country and now contractors around the country are banning together to get this insanity stopped before things become serious legal issues for cities because of the illegal actions started by this vendor and the city officials and regulators doing what they are told to do like good mindless drones instead of using common sense approaches to dealing with wash water that most cities have in place already.

If this vendor from Texas approaches you, harrasses you by emails or phone calls, please be warned that you will be lied to, they will try to manipulate you, they will try to get you to believe you are doing illegal things right now and for a large monetary fee they can make your city bmp's legal (your bmp's are legal right now based on your legal team checking them before making them official in most cases in most cities, that is what your legal team does for your city) and will charge you a lot of money to make your bmp's
legal and promise you a new revenue stream by citing/ticketing honest hard working contractors, making them buy more equipment to do the same job that they have been doing for many years now.

You are probably asking yourself why are they doing this to their own industry people? ? ?

We wish we had a good answer for you but basically they are planning on selling more expensive equipment to them because you as the city will make them so they will make money off of your backs as well as the backs of hard working pressure washing contractors so it is a win-win for that vendor from texas as they will have you doing their bidding and making companies buy their equipment or go out of business or get fined daily until they go out of business or pay the fines, either way it is a win-win for the city as you can charge them for permits for each contractor for each year they want to be in business besides having them haul wash water (illegally of course until your legal team stops you) and / or they have an accident and they hire an attorney to deal with the city as you did not tell them that they have to be a licensed waste hauler, have a D.O.T. approved vehicle/tank to do this and a huge pile of other things to be in the business of hauling hazardous waste.

Don't worry about the legal issues and multiple lawsuits that will happen almost daily as your city will have a legal team working around the clock dealing with these issues so it is a win-win for the city as well as you will be getting more work out of your saloried legal team and possibly hiring more thus creating more jobs for your city at the same time so you will be seen as not only a job creator but a revenue stream creator and someone that is making the city legal team earn their pay.

feel free to add to this infomercial. hahahahahahaha
