Anyone heard of a service called Internet Call Manager? It acts like an answering maching for your computer and even forwards the calls to anywhere you want. Was thinking of trying it.
 
I'd check with your local phone company first to see if they have a similar type system, most of them have these kinds of services.

Personally, I'd just get a cable modem and not worry about being on the phone while you are online... :)
