Dead Modified Delavan Request

Thats like having a problem with NASCAR. They all do it, we all do it.

Personally there is nothing wrong with asking for any info that will help your business, its up to you or someone else to decide wheather or not you want to offer the info.

I didnt see anyone pissed when people were asking me how to get National accounts, everyone wanted my secrets and no one had a proble asking for it, how is this any different?

I work in 14 different states, yours is one of them,I dont own your state and I dont think Bob owns a patent on the change either, its business and if he did have a problem I bet he would say so. So let him.

This type of behavior makes him look bad too, some may take it as he is sending you to defend him. He is a big boy and a personal friend of mine, if he has a problem let him speak for himself.
 
WOW! I agree with Russ. We all have to change and adjust with our bizz. I dont see anything wrong with them trying to give you what you want. Its just one more store to service us, and who knows what they can add to the pumps to make them better. there is power in #'s if we all put our heads together we can make an even better product. after all we(contractors) are the first to cry when somthing burns up. we go back to the person who sold it to us. thats when we put their other product to the test(customer service). Bob's is great. I have yet to do bizz. with lori but i will very soon. give her a break. my $.02
 
I buy from Bob and I buy from Pressure Washer Products as both are great companies.

I agree with what Russ said, it is one thing to ask but it is another to respond.

Companies out there will always have secrets and want to protect them but if others out there want to try to level the playing field then that is up to them, not us.

I respect both companies and wish both of them the best and hope that both prosper, especially in these times where the economy is not doing too good.

Funny, its not a secret Bob even post it for the world to see.

Sorry John that you feel the way you do, you have the right to your oponion and I respect you as a contractor and a person, I am not going to delete your account, you make the decision wheather or not to come here.

We are here if you change your mind, God only knows how many times I have erased my profile and signature only to put it all back after a few days.

Yeah russ cancel mine too I cant control myself. and all the mean people on these boards & Nick keeps making fun of my tootsie rolls.

Seriously, some of you act like you invented pressure washing and roof cleaning and the day to day activities that go with it. Most of us have learned a thing or 100 from PWI. Get a grip people Lori & Bob are both good people that would do anything to earn your business!

Lori, go back and read the posts. I never attacked you. You posted that you had any size hose for sale and would reply back with quotes. I requested a price on 250' sections of hose. After a day of no reply from you I posted that you must not have it or not want to make the sale. You called me and told me if I removed the post you would sell me the hose at cost. I removed it because you asked. I didn't have to. You were rude on the phone, used profanity, and in no way treated me the way a potential customer should be treated, in my opinion. I don't pick on people because of their gender. If you and your company can sleep at night trying to take buy secrets from another vendor, go for it. You gotta it too I guess. I choose not to deal with companies like that. This isn't personal against you. I try to stand on the side of ethics.
 
I'll repost this at the "modify-at-will" forum. Let's see if I can rephrase. I cannot and will not be a party to deceiving a guy that has been a pioneer in this industry, a friend to many and an honest, ethical business man to everyone. There is a right way and a wrong way to get customers. All I'm asking you is to think about that.

Hey just Man up and say what you want to say, I took your original post like a kick in the NUT's!! I always told you I was happy for you that you were doing good. The Tootsie roll thing was a joke, if it works for you then great, but I will stick to stenciling and face to face, thats what works for me.
