It gives me great pleasure to announce the results of the UAMCC's first slate of Board of Directors. This is a historical moment for the UAMCC Association. Almost 2 years ago the UAMCC emerged as a idea of what could be. After countless months of working with some of the finest individuals in our industry it is now time for the changing of the guard. New faces, new people and certainly new ideas will most certainly emerge from the 9 newly elected individuals that we as an association will look to for direction, guidance and perseverance.

We as an association face many challenges in the upcoming months and years and I am honored to be surrounded by some of the best damn contractors in the mobile contract cleaning industry today!

For the two individuals that did not get elected, it pains me that we could not accept all of you as a member of the board. Please do not get discouraged and certainly do not think you were not qualified....because you are.

Without further delay it is my privilege to announce the UAMCC Board of Directors:

John Orr
Michael Tessaro
Don Phelps
Michael Kreisle
Trevor Steel
Rob Huffman
Scott Millen
Terry Miller
John Tornabene

Congratulations to the newly elected and congratulations to the UAMCC.

Carlos Excutive Director

Congradulation to all those who will make a huge impact into the future of this industry in the coming Years.

Congrats !!! Good picks for BOD. Proffessional Contractors leading the way!! Keep it Real.

Thanks Ron. Our Work is going to be cut out for us. It will be an interesting ride and I'll keep PWI close to my heart...I've been here long enough its the least I can do.

I have to agree with that.

Congratulations to the new board.:welcome:

It will be interesting to see if some of these guys who've privately disagreed vehemently with previous TT decisions will now do anything different. No more excuses now.

Some of the choices are puzzling.:scratchhead:

Chris, The new board will be set in in January. The seats for President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer are not set at this time. The new board has to meet and vote on those positions. We are just barely 24 hours old.

If you would like to be heard and have some input please join the UAMCC. Like any other organization with a BOD there will be committees for members to participate in.

For more info on how a BOD operates. Search, non profit bod policy, non profit operations, non profit procedures, non profit bylaws, etc.

This is how it happens, its not too complicated. There was a selection committee of volunteer members. The membership at large made nominations and submitted them to the committee, some declined their nomination. When nominations were closed, there were 11 nominees for 9 seats. Ballots were sent out to the membership, and a vote was taken. The resulting vote is the new BOD elect.

Michael - IS the UAMCC currently recognized as "not for profit"? Which status, please?

The Articles of Incorporation have been submitted to the Secretary of State. The UAMCC has been working with a firm which specializes in this. When all is complete the UAMCC will be secured as a 501(c)6 non profit organization.

Thank you Mike we have asked that question for around three months.

I'm not sure if I should congradulate the new BOD members or send them condolences..lol Being a BOD is a LOT OF WORK, and you get a lot of crap for it. For the BOD members that openly answered questions on the UAMCC forum that were asked by members I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with this new org.

I hope he was Speaking metaphorically, and not financially. I am also curious why it is taking the second state so long. The paperwork was supposed to have been submitted nearly a year ago.
