I would like to thank Celeste for all admin help she has given, Roger will get the new instructor award for 2009 by having a very popular grafiti class. This class got more props for being more than they expected to learn about graffiti.

Thanks Roger

Education Credits

That brings up a very interesting subject Ron, Education Credits.

People in many industries have to get Continuing Education Credits each year to keep their license active.

Since we do not have licenses here for Pressure Washing, Maybe have NCE print out some Education Credits to be sent out to show that we are all striving to better the industry in many ways and wanting to better ourselves also.

That might be a good marketing idea also, not sure how to word it but I would definately put it on my website each year for however many classes I have attended or how many credits earned, not sure how that is figured out like each hour is 1 credit or is it 1 day is one credit? I have no clue but with everyone attending these great events, it will definately help the image of the industry a lot.

The credits would be worthless if we printed them out ourselves (anyone can do that and it would not be worth anything) but if the NCE did it, that would be great.

I would be willing to donate to help cover the cost of printing them out and mailing them.

This is a great idea Ron!

I would like to nominate Tony Shelton for the New Add-On Service Award.

The coil cleaning/filter service is something that I would have never thought of or about.

It is strange but working at the refinery 12 years they had the A/C company come out and change out the filters to all the units all over the place, they had several vans or sometimes a large trailer with lots and lots of cases of filters to be changed out. I never thought about that as a service.

Since Tony introduced this idea last year, hosted a Round Table in Las Vegas this year, Had 2 coil cleaning classes after the round table and showed everyone there how he does the job, ways to make the job go faster and more efficient and ways to market this new Add-On Service, I think that he should get an award for this!

I like the add on idea, but lets be realistic. he really helped alot of guys make alot of money quick. So Tony is getting an award for this for sure. I just think ad on service might not say enough.

how about best ad on service for repeat business. $$$$$$$$44 we put some dollar signs up on the award. LOL

I agree about the Graffiti class, I have been cleaning graffiti for almost 6 years now but never really knew that much about it and at the MB Round Table I thought it would be another show of how to apply the cleaners and safety precautions, blah, blah, blah. Was I wrong!

I learned what the graffiti meant, what to do when you come across certain kinds of graffiti, how you can get the police to watch your back when doing a job, what kinds to just walk away from, which ones will endanger your life/safety, etc..... and More!

When Roger started talking I admit I was not listening but after about a couple minutes he had my undivided attention and I was going to listen no matter what! I did not know this stuff about graffiti and what it meant.

Sure we have a lot of the gangs and the gangs that are both in Mexico and the U.S. but never knew what the graffiti meant, it sure was an eye opener to say the least!

For those attending the Fort Worth Round Table, this is something you don't want to miss, especially if you are cleaning graffiti or plan on adding this service to your business.
