Copper prices down, we aren't seeing this much anymore

Wow! Was that building occupied or did that happen at nite?

I would think that took some time to do that much work.

I hope that copper theif tries to steal some electrical wire that is still live and very hot!
 
Here in NC last year guys were stealing AC units from churchs, I think they got there go straight to he!! cards, do not collect $200
 
It happened at night.

Chris can take a unit like this entirely apart for cleaning in less than 2 minutes.
They could have done all this on one charge of an impact driver and probably been gone in less than an hour if they were experienced.
My guess is there were at least four of them going at once and one guy in a flatbed truck with sides waiting somewhere else for them to call and dump them off the side of the building.

That's a lot of coils - 20 ten ton units with 2 coils each, plus the condenser coils are double (two piece)

They left all the compressors $$$$$$ (twenty) and the fan motors (30) $$ and the electronics so they must have not had an "in" with any hvac companies.
 
That is such a shame, it seems like we need surveillance cameras everywhere now to catch these theives, graffiti people, car jackers, etc.... There just are not enought eyes around to see what is happening all the time.......But do we really want that loss of privacy for our protection? Something to think about.

I would like more cameras to hopefully catch some of these people and get them off the street but some crimes are a slap on the hand and then they are back out on the street so what do you do?
