Surface Cleaner Swivels & Water Temperature

Does that swivel adjust for height by sliding up/down inside the blue thing?

It's interesting how up and down the swivels are - same brand lasts hours for some and years for others. I have a mosmatic with years on it, I do open up the lid about every two weeks and fill it with silicone.

I think BE, "Whirl-A-Way" weak points are the bearing layout, and stationary face Oring design/material , the heavier spinner bar, and the leak point being under the SC deck. (However the new replacement stationary O ring looked brown and the originals were black, maybe the switched O ring materials now)

Nigel, maybe the brown are viton to replace the regular black rubber
o-rings for better wear and heat rating?

My swivel was replaced on my steel eagle about a month and a half ago, and has already gone bad. I use mine about 25 hours a month at this point in time. I rarely turn the heat above 200 on the SC.

What will happen if I keep using it with the worn swivel? It still works fine, just has a little play if you wiggle the arms.

is there any way to upgrade the bearings to a higher quality bearing? also find a better thrust bearing or somthing of that nature? somthing that will hold up to the heat?

Russ, What is the price for that mosmatic spray bar for the Big Guy?
Also the Mosmatic spray bars for the Steel Eagle 24" surface cleaner and the Whisper Wash Classic?

Thank You.

Classic - 16" bar - $69.76
Steel Eagle 24 - 20" bar - $71.45
Big Guy - 24" bar - $73.11

All spray bars are stainless steel, 3/8" fpt inlet, 1/8" fpt outlet.

David, I was told to use high temperature grease.
