General Pump

TT9061 is 2.1 @ 1,500 psi @ 3,450 rpm. Yes, parts are available, although if you're doing the crank, rods, bearings, etc. it may not be economically feasible.

Crankshaft - $205.70
Rods - $20.25 ea
Ball bearing - $35.16
Needle bearing - $23.46

So, without oil seals, pistons, water seals, oil, etc. you're already in for $325.07

A new TT9061 would be $284.75.

It looks a lot less expensive to just replace the pump and you are done in a very short amount of time compared to rebuilding it.

You would think that if you rebuilt it yourself, you would get the parts cheaper and save some money.

Maybe that is the larger picture, sell the pumps cheaper than what it cost to rebuild so they will just keep buying pumps as needed?

I have talked to some guys that do more work than most and they just change out pumps when the pressure drops or after so many hours, they told me that it is not worth thier time to rebuild them and sometimes after rebuilding them the other parts that were good start to go bad or they just don't last like when it was new.

I guess it also matters which pump you use vs. the parts to rebuild.

What is freight on that? I called a few people 6 - 7 months ago when this pump blew and they were telling me upwards of 400.00. I don't want to tell you what Landa said.

A local pw supply house told me they throw these pumps out when they get used machines in. working or not. He called them pos. But this Landa machine worked most excellent for my needs.
