Finally tried out the Panel Bright from Russ at Southside Equipment today

I am still using the panel bright and it still is some great soap, especially for the extra dirty trucks.

Not sure if Russ has the new injectors but if so, there is a way to downstream under pressure so using this Panel Bright or any other chemicals or soaps has a better and faster result for Fleet Washing or 2-Stepping.

Give Russ a call and talk to him about it.

Thanks Russ.

The comment about taking pictures is great. Tech. is improving the way we do things these days. It has taken me over three weeks to get used to my new smart phone. When in doubt , give someone a shout and send pictures or better yet a video wuth your phone and someone on this site will be more than happy to assist you.

Give Russ a call, he is sometimes busy and might not be on the bbs all the time.

A kit to make 5 gallons is $25.00 plus shipping. Give me a call.

Hey Chris, I am having a hard time finding a open top drum in my area to use a mixer in. I am needing to mix up my drum kit of panel bright as soon as possible. Do you think I can get by with adding some of the powder via a funnel in the bung hole then adding some water and back and forth until I get it filled up. I was thinking I could add the water using my Pwasher and wand so that it stirs it up at the some time. Your thoughts? I am afraid that it could be a dangerous mess or it might go perfectly smooth. I just don't want to start mixing it and things go crappy and half my kit mixed up.

Drum Mates makes a mixer that will fit into the bung hole. It will mix faster tnan any mixer I have found.

I used a product very similar to Panel Bright, I was out of the Panel Bright.

I was 2 step cleaning those aluminum wheels using the BioClean system, their prewash and a very strong soap. I use a very strong soap because on some parts of the truck and trailer, I needed something different for those hard to clean tractors and trailers.

Do you always close deals at 8:00a on Sunday? A.B.C.

Chris you still having trouble mixing those kits?

Russ recommended a drum mixer that Dultmeier sells 2 or 3 years ago so I got one, it is great and makes life a whole lot easier with drum kits.

Sure is easier, faster and more safe using a drum mixer instead of using a mixer on the end of a drill with one hand while pouring in powders and chemicals with the other hand.

Yeah i have one it looks like a little boat propellar on the end.Start out with 15 gallons of 130 degree water then powders, then liquids in last.

Whoever uses the Panel Bright, make sure to call Russ and get application info from him, you don't want to put it on too weak or too strong, you want this miracle chemical to do what you want it to, Russ will tell you how to make it do great things for you.

Has anyone ever use Big Rig brite and white lightning for fleet washing from the soap warehouse?

Most of the people I know that have tried soaps from all over the place usually end up with Panel Brite or MC Thunder, there are similar products out there and I know a lot of guys that tried the other brands and were not happy so they switched, just like I have.

I went through a lot of brands before I stuck with what works for me, over 14 brands/companies to find some good stuff, kind of like they say, separating the wheat from the chaff.

There are so many suppliers of "truck wash soaps" out there, it is hard to keep track of them all and don't get me started on the "Ratios" that the chemical salesmen lie about when trying to sell you products, way, way, way, way different in the real world of truck washing from what they lie about saying how it will work at this ratio all the way up to this ratio. Most of those people have never washed a truck in their life let alone washed for a living so most of them out there are full of it to put it nicely.

I have a good friend that bought some derby or panel bright or something like that that was supposed to be panel bright but when he told me how it did not work at all, I asked him about it and he told me it looks like watered-down coffee, brown but almost see through. I told him that the real panel bright you cannot see through it at all, even when diluted 2:1 or even at 4:1 with water. I had about a gallon in the 55 gallon mixing drum and added water and with almost 10 gallons of water in it, you could not see through it so that is one test that might help you make sure you got the good stuff.

This is a stronger soap for the tougher to clean surfaces, I don't use it for the day to day or even weekly trucks as I use a different soap for those, this is one of my special soaps and I don't want to waste it on the easy stuff.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information Chris its very true. I really have heard great things about that panel bright and the two step.
