Telescoping wands suck I hear

I was just about to purchase a telescoper for A small center next weekend. Glad I read many of the opinions you guys have had to offer. However I was looking for some suggestions in its place. I am considering getting a 79" stainless extension and I have an x-jet. Are there any mods you guys have done to provide an angle at the tip to make it more effective? -Or do you have any better ideas/solutions that you care to share? Thanks guys, I appreciate any input.

What material are you washing, and how high is it? What PSI & GPM is your pressure washer? Yellow noodles suck, but you need to buy it just be be initiated into the fraternity:lmao:. I used mine once for about five minutes in the last 18 months.

Efis, about 26-30 ft, 4gpm, 4k psi. I was all ready to get one but I really would rather find other things to piss away my money on if it won't be effective. Nothing is more irritating than to have an expectation of a tool and it turns out to be junk! Thanks everyone for the heads up.

The x-jet should hit it. what is the material you are using it on?

Oh yeah the x-jet should do a great job for you. you can apply and rinse with the x-jet with out a lot of pressure on the dryvit.

The extension wand you need is one with Hexagonal extension tube..
it is MUCH stronger than round, and we get LOTS of compliments on them.
call with any question, any time. Info is always free.

I have heard good things about the aluminum type, especially the pin-lock poles. I hate the threaded collar type, dirt always gets in there and sometimes you can't get them loose without a lot of trouble.

I have the poles from 18' to 36' long and they are a tool for the job.

My poles have made me a lot of money and they are a pita to use but when it comes to saving the customer money and you can do the job without a manlift, that has gotten me the job many times over the competition.

I hate using them all day long but when it is making me money, I don't mind that much, just hate my elbows hurting the next day. hahahahaha

If you use them, get the belt that helps hold it, that belt helps a lot.

There are some tricks to using those poles to make them easier to use and not kick so hard when working, just have to get used to them.

I am glad that I purchased them as they all have made me money.

The 36' pole was made by Steve Rowlett to compete with the Coress Wand and was built very well and is not too heavy, got a good deal on it along with a pitch witch from a guy getting out of the business a couple years ago. That pitch witch was great for blasting old, loose paint off tiles for re-painting but I had to put weights on it to keep it from launching up into the air every time I pulled the trigger!

We have both the Coress as well as Steve's Magnum. LOVE OUR CORESS WAND. The coating on the Magnum degraded and is all stuck inside the extension so it's pretty well trashed until Roger can take the time to completely disassemble the entire thing and take it down to bare metal again :(

Noodle guys will tell you all day long you don't need an extension but if you get a GOOD one....you will use it.

That is every rookie's mistake, and the distributor selling it to you knows it to !! I did the same thing about 17 yrs ago what a joke. You need to be a circus performer to use this thing and not wind up on your ass or going thru someone's window.

You get the black off the gutters using F-13 Gutter Grenade from Bob over at www.pressuretek.com. I put some of it in with Simple Cherry house wash mix and it does the job. Sometimes you need to run a brush over the real nasty ones.:thumbup2:

I used one for years. Loved it. But you can save a ton of money doing what these guys are suggesting.

I screw a 1/4 inch hose barb into a 1/4 plug. Works just like the ladder saver. I can shoot chlorine 35-40 feet for about 5 bucks
The secret is not how high it will go but the concentration of chemicals that reach the surface. That is why I like the X-Jet so well. The X-Jet using the Gutter Shock will take care of the gutters.

I clearly remember the first time I used an X-Jet on a job site. I also clearly remember what I did as soon as I got home... I used a chainsaw on my yellow extension wand so it would fit in the trashcan.
