GPS

Id like to know also. Been looking at them for awhile now and still haven't bought one. I figure as soon as I do they will come out with something better and simpler to use the next day. That would be my luck!

I've always run Garmin in my boats. I know the new street ones have routing capability. Garmin were always very user friendly. I'm looking now too.

Magellin works VERY good for multi location routes. If I remember correctly you can export form microsoft maps and plan a route right off it at any time.
I also have a garmin 330 and a tom tom. The garmin is great but the screen is bluky.
Tom Tom is terrible but has the smallest screen so it looks better sitting there.

I use my phone. It does routing, if I need it. My guys have a defined route, so I always run the route first, set it up on the paperwork, and then tell them how I want it done.

Another option; If you have the a laptop in the truck, you can use Delmore street atlas; or their blue logger if you are hitting multiple locations a night and want to download the stops after you get back to the office.(it can get you the speed the vehicle is traveling, if someone other than you is driving).

Dimitar, of Fox Sweeping had a good system to you can do a search.

Since this thread began back in Feb, I now have a Garmin Nuvi 700 series. All I can really say is....Why didn't I get one sooner. :slap: We use it everyday and to date, it hasn't failed us one time. Off Topic- I also finally got a Droid X. I do believe that I have officially moved ahead into the year 2010 as far as technology goes. :woot: Same with the phone too...Why did I wait so long? :banghead:
